Fedex shows clubs arriving today...MB (PW, 9) HC (8-5), FC (4) if anyone is needing pictures. I don't believe many FC pictures have been posted.

I would love  to see the 4 iron i am going Friday to See Jamie. Where you able to hit the 4 or just the 5,7,9 ?

Only able to hit 5,7,9 in MB,HM,CB then they have std lie, +2 deg, -2 deg and thats the club table they bring out to the range, see photo

Our 15 month old baby was unruly today and I assume will be tonight, will post pics for you tomorrow of the 4 iron itself & next to the 5.

I will say for my setup having MB, HM, CB...the progression between types is awesome, especially the top lines

I am in two minds; wait to get to Texas(in Scotland) for a fitting or just order with my favourite shafts - PX 7.0. I don't think I would use them straight away either as I like my blueprints and not golfing enough to wear them out!

 

I feel I need weight in the shaft or I get quick in transition but would laugh if I was to get fitted with very different shafts by them.

Went through fitting and my current shaft x100 was the most consistent with tightest dispersion.

I was there on Friday and the shaft that worked least in the Artisan’s  where the ones that i have in my Mizuno’s that i love

Dropping this kind of coin, I would want to do it in person. But as we know, and talking to Jamie, you probably be fine.

I love them.  Worth the wait.  6 rounds and a lot of practice on them.  Still learning real-life distances.  Crappy range balls don't help.

While I am totally in the pro-fitting in person camp, I was there last year for getting fit for my first set of wedges from Jamie. They had the prototype 7-irons and I got to hit each one as a "bonus". 

I can't make it to FTW and had a 45-minute call with him about what irons I am in now and the shafts and my overall philosophy. He took notes and he recommended. Also ordered another wedge set....

Different shaft in my Artisans than prior irons as my prior shaft (Shimada constants) is not common

 

Given this...the in person fitting was critical for me.

It was eye opening how Jamie was able to change shaft brands and within a brand the shaft weight to help manipulate feel, ball flight etc.

 

Ended up with Modus 120's and hard stepping the shafts.

I played yesterday at nice course in Scotland; Archerfield Links- Dirleton Links Course(fake links but nice) and I left with a good even par round but for some reason I decided I was wanting to buy some Artisan irons. might be it being my birthday also. 

 

I love my blueprints but think its time.

 

4-9 MB is what I think I will go, just wish there was a 3 iron as I use that on all inland courses and a 2 iron on links. would a FC 4 iron 1* strong work? seems a few of you have them? I could just stick with my i59 3 iron which is great(no idea why not many folk like these)

 

I am still not sure if I am getting out to Texas or not this fall so might just order unseen on my Blueprint spec. My 46* and 50* could do with a sand blasting. I might have to order a new pair to go with my 55 and 60 I have sitting still in wrapper if I can't get out to Texas.

do the guys in Ireland that fit the wedges handle irons too?
