Competitive Amateur Bag

Thought I would show my bag to everyone. I played in college and am currently competing in amateur events in Southern CA. My irons and wedges are 2* flat to fight a hook. At the moment my grips are midsize Lamkin Crossline full cord for the same reason. I like to walk so the Ping Moonlite is great for me. 

Driver - Mizuno ST 200 w/ Diamana Whiteboard S

3 Wood - Callaway Epic Flash 15* w/ PX HZRDUS Red 6.0

5 Wood- Titleist 913F 19* w/ PX HZRDUS T1100  6.5 

Irons - 3, 5-W Honma TW747 V w/Nippon Modus 120 S

Utility - TaylorMade GAPR Mid 5 24*
Wedges - Vokey SM9 56*, Vokey SM7 52*
Putter - Odyssey OG Rosie S w/Stoke Lab 34"

I wish I would have bought those irons when they were selling new on ebay a while back for nothing. they look great. Would make a great transition from the z745's

Nice bag!  In my Jr golf days, we used to flip those TMag Burner Bubble head covers inside out for the gnarly zebra-like pattern of the insulation material.

Interested to know the story behind the iron/utility match up - what sort of gapping do you get between your 5 wood, 3 iron, 5 GAPR, and 5 iron?

Can not speak for him but in my case it is not about the loft but the different type and variety of different shots I can hit with different clubs of close loft. Look at my signature and you will see I still carry and hit the 4&5 irons but carry 7&9 woods similar lofts but different shots. Look on the bottom end I have like a 7* gap between my 51* wedge and my 58* way outside the box of convential thinking. All that works for me but I will say it may not work for anyone else in this world.

The Moonlite is a great walking bag with just enough space for those (of us) who enjoy walking and carrying. It’s more of a niche experience for some.

I walk 72 holes a week… the SM 2.5 weighs 2.9 vs 2.5 for moonlite and it’s 10x the bag…

exactly, which is why you should ignore my recommendation if you don’t agree with it rather than enter a circular argument

Have you done anything to stop the slick in the moonlite? I know not everyone cares but it drives me insane. Have tried sewing a spine in to it but I’m not a good seamstress haha

I don't carry the 3 iron most of the time.  The GAPR is at 23* and the 5 iron is 26*.

Exactly. 3 iron for low shots and off the tee. 19* 5 wood gets the ball up in the air

I can't get away from the Moonlite. I've tried Hoofer Lite, Titleist stand bags, etc..
