Phil is 3 under today.  I don’t know what happened yesterday, he stuck several irons close but is struggling with consistency.  I know the feeling.

This is where the team format can be a little bit extra interesting, when someone shoots a good score day 2, even though they are big time out of the overall win because of a bad first day.  Somehow Phil's -3 for the day, and it counts for his team.  Likewise Kim, who shot a +17 yesterday, is -3 today.

Exactly, no matter where you stand in the tournament individually you can have a low round and help your team.

Would it be a terrible idea if everyone lightened up? We can’t have good comedy if people get too sensitive. Cam has had some adventures over the first two days.  Hitting over a rather tall boulder wall.  This course does not reward going over the greens.

They just showed one of the holes that plays as a par5 for the members but it's a par 4 for this LIV tournament.  The commentator flexes and proudly proclaims this par5 is a par 4 for the pros! Meanwhile they flash on the screen the scoring average this week is a 4.73! Haha

I must say Harold Varner has an impressive beer gut for a 20 something year old. He would give most 50 year old beer guts a good run for their money.

It is definitely playing like a Par 5, that is for sure.  They actually converted two 530yd+ Par 5s to Par 4s, so it is playing as a Par 70.
