I think that smart owners will look at Brock’s success and really say,

We see that you can take a guy who is not necessarily an athletic super freak Mahomie but….

 

Hes smart. He’s got serious game IQ, he can quickly scan and read coverage. 
 

And we can build around this guy without the risk of our QB getting knocked out for the season cause he’s running around outside the pocket all day.

What’s “funny” and quite yelling is. The 9ers look like geniuses for takin Purdy. They also gave up three 1st round picks and one 3rd rounder for Trey. And they gave him to Dallas for one 4th rounder 🤪

Sort of like a return to older style pocket passer football?.  Who wouldve thunk it !? 🤣.  Having your blue chip passer hit 25 times a game by 300lb guys might prove a bad bet over time !  I’d say they can find plenty of those type players IF they stop drafting RG3 types at QB. It will trickle back down to the youth and you’ll see tall kids with arms that don’t have mahomes speed play QB again.

Besides Mahomie the space man, and even he’s taken some dings, these guys all seem to get KOd.

Yea but they seem to favor longevity vs the RG3 , torn ACL on the first year , limp around for 7 more years , route.    I watched him alot at Baylor , and it was amazing.  But he was immediately exposed as vulnerable in the nfl.

Yes, but there are rules and regulations regarding what is allowed in sign stealing. Figuring out what the third base coach’s signs mean, ok. Putting a HD camera in center field and letting your hitters know what pitch is coming… Not legal. But whatever 😊

It wasn't as bad as the refs taking away Iowa's punt return TD with 1:00 left because of a bogus fair catch call. Might be the worst call I've ever seen. Big 10 did not want the Hawkeyes in the title game.
