USC is ahead of Notre Dame ... despite getting CRUSHED by the Irish ...

 

Louisville beat Notre Dame ... has a better record than Notre Dame ... but is ranked behind Notre Dame ...

 

Texas beat Alabama ... they have the same record ... they are tied in the polls ...

 

Kinda makes you wonder why they play the games.

Speaking of Ice Spice, has anyone else seen her Dunkin Donuts commercial with Affleck?  If so, am I the only one who could not understand what she said?  I had to replay it 4 or 5 times before I could pick up that she said, "Ice Spice?  My fans are the munchkins."  Up until I finally was able to understand her say "Ice Spice", I had no idea who she was.  LOL.

anybody close to this and can explain what the fuss is about ?  Are hometown CU fans wanting to go back to obscurity?  If players don’t buy into campus culture , isn’t that a campus culture problem ?  What am I missing ?

All political to make Tv  ratings.  Anyone who’s watched southern cal play this year knows they shouldn’t be ranked when you have a Missouri team who isn’t ranked and is  at 6-1. That Mizzou team would eat them alive and I naturally don’t like or pull for Missouri.

You gotta understand Boulder Blade. It’s not a football town. It’s full of Bandwagon fans who will jump off the wagon just as quickly as they jumped on.  He’s headlines right now, a lot of glitz and glamour. It plays well there. Once he’s gone it will go back relative obscurity. There’s a reason the stadium only seats 50k and is usually only half full.

I can’t really make an informed statement since I’ve never been to Austin. But from I’ve read or heard, they sound similar.

Right I get that part. But that’s why I ask.  If there’s no football culture there. Why are they griping now ?  He can’t be missing their wants if they have none. Unless it’s non football related. Right ?

Interesting Blade, I didn’t read the link previously, but did now. Just a guess, but I’d bet it’s a small number making the noise. You know, those 25,000 who show up even when they’re bad. 
 

But it’s pointless to complain about players not caring about university traditions. That’s what happens when CFB turns into a free agent market.

Yep. I can see that. They want everyone to be all “ yay CU”. Win or not.  And if they’re not , the winning doesn’t turn them on.
