My dinner tonight was leftover chilli. It was good but was topped off by a Blue Jays win over the Yankees. My 91 year old Mom is very happy as her favourite player (Vladdy) got things started with a homer in the first inning. Go Jays Go!

Interesting that you noticed the cork. As well you should.  It was a small French cafe table with two guys gesturing with bagels. I didn't want to spill a good wine and I didn't think anyone would notice that the red wasn't breathing. The entire setup was to mimic a French New Wave film (think Francois Truffaut, Jean-Luc Godard), with bistro music, black and white photography, scratches in the film.

L to R 

1. crossed over to being a man.

2. made good money as a horror film actress. Make up money was saved.

3. had a very rich husband, three kids, a mansion in town, a home at the shore, and drove the finest car in the land.

4. grew her hair out and then wore it long and straight. Her blue eyes were stunning. Married LP. 

5. ended up in a mental institution. You could see it in her eyes early.

6. was a successful dancer on Broadway.

7. had a terrible battle with alcohol and ended up living in a cardboard box.
 

 

Jeez LP be nice. Those are people's great great grandmothers.

Yes that is the one with the colorful up drinks. 

 

Now how about sharing please the commercial you did for the one restaurant/bar that you still frequent regularly for a gin and tonic?  That's the one I was thinking of that has the employees and regular customers gathered around at the end of the commercial having a good time.  You knew them by name.

It was freezing.  Sober on the front for my 45, then got a 6 pack.  Didn’t drink many but did shoot a 38 on the back in the snow and rain.  So I guess it isn’t the number of beers, it’s the taste of the beer.

P3P you have already endured in the early spring more winter warrior golf s*** than I did in the entire  months of January and February.  Way to get out there and battle. After months of indoor golf that is what a serious player must do. I bet another grand that you had alcohol antifreeze of some sort while playing frigid golf. Thanks for providing me with my second winning ticket of the night.

I recognize Mickey Mantle and Billy Martin in the first one, but not the guy between them.   As for the second photo, the guy on the right looks familiar, but I can't place him.  I know I'm wrong, but the guy on the left almost looks like Tony Bennett.  Heh.

guy in the middle in the first photo and on the right in the second is my grandfather.

Hey, that's cool.  Sorry that I didn't recognize it was he in both photographs.  Um, maybe that's why I thought he looked familiar in the 2nd photo....?  Hehe.   I didn't notice until just now that the tie is the same in both.

haha yeah the tux was his nightly outfit when he was the maitre d at the copa back in the 50s. and he rocked it well!
