I love slaw, but please don't put it ON my BBQ sandwich. You Carolina boys are different. 😄

... To be fair, it's a vinegar slaw, not a creamy slaw. But it is how I was introduced to Pulled Pork so a must for me. And Peach Cobbler for dessert. Now I'm hungry LOL.

aen, I could have sworn that you sent me a post a page or two back with here LP try this lesser toned rap. I meant to listen to it but got posting away. I looked back and couldn't find it. It is not important because even though my musical tastes are diverse and all over the place I will never get along with Rap or Hip Hop. I am like a lot of folks my age when I say that Rap/Hip Hop is not music, and I don't feel its' popularity has helped society one bit. I have never been a fan of country music either. Southern rock yes, but that is different.

That band was out of Greenville NC of all places no joke.  @chisag probably knows this but it may be after his time there. They played at a Black beer Joint called The RB Junior. Even though it was known as a black beer joint anyone was welcome and everyone got along. This was around 76 77

This miserable b*satrd playing drums should be launched into the sun.

... I love a drummer that seems to have the music drive them, instead of them driving the music. When a drummer seems to "dance" to the music I can't take m y eyes of them. We talked about him but Jeff Friedl is at the top of that list. Same for Marco Giovino on one of my favorite DVD's Robert Plant and Band Of Joy. If he sucks, please don't tell me. 🤣

Vinegar based slaw on a PP sandwich… Oh hell yeah!

... The Legendary Stamey's right next to the Greensboro Coliseum and lunch is always a wait in line proposition. Dinner is a little better but waiting also happens. During the ACC Tourney the place was always packed. I can't believe they are selling Pulled Pork sandwiches for $4.99. We'd order the Family Dinners to go for 6 with only 4 of us eating and never any left over.

... We speak a similar language. Although I do think Rap and Hip hop is a viable music genre iborn the hood where young folks couldn't afford instruments and developed their own music with just their voices. Crazy impressive. Rich white kids in the suburbs adopting it and pretending the Gangstah Lifestyle somehow applied to them was where it went off the rails. Now BD got himself in a violent mood listening to Rap before taking the field and it worked for him, but he never thought of himself as a ganstah or thought it was glabrous but does love him some Rap, but particular about era's. I think one of the most under rated films about the suburban kids wanting to live that life was WhiteBoyz.

Back to golf.

I wish to thank chisag again for his help a few months back with my swing. I also found a fantastic swing tip last week that has greatly improved my consistency. Mark Crossfield is my favorite online golf entertainer/ golf instructor. Mark has superb British wit and I find his swing tips helpful.

So today even though I was hot as hell and sweating a ton (today was the most humid weather I have experienced this summer. It was like Charleston with the 80% humidity nonsense) I hit the ball quite well. I keyed in on coach chisag's teaching and worked on keeping my posture correct with my rear end out and my spine angle less rounded. I kept my right knee flexed and when bringing the club down I tried to tap power from the ground up. I flattened my swing. Then I added in Mr. Crossfield's tip of only taking my hands half way back and then concentrating on making a big shoulder turn.  Doing all of this produced plenty of crisp, accurate, and max distance shots.  I also had a fine practice session with my new wedges. I am getting real comfortable with them and they are definitely better than the ones they replaced.

I left the range as drenched in sweat like Lucas Glover was yesterday. I left the range with ball striking confidence.

Here's some semi-rap/hip hop you might like.  It was my son's favorite song when he was 15.  Really interesting, intelligent and thought provoking lyrics.

Here you go Touch.  This may be the post you are thinking of.  Make sure to listen to, at least, the first minute. It gets better and more relevant the deeper you go. Old, socially conscious, hippies like chisag might even enjoy it.
