With all the talk about the powerful European team, the US actually won more LPGA victories this season.

2 – People’s Republic of China (Ruoning Yin (2))

The final standing:

So Lexi is still in via Rolex Rankings, since she #21 (as of last week).  Do you know is it still Rose Zhang after that?  She and Angel Yin both finished T41 this last week, and they are ranked #31 and #32 (as of last week), with both at 2.94 ave (assume there is some other decimals).  Rose is still operating off the minimum divisor, so she can only really improve?  Yin's calculation will depend on what falls off the back end (or different weighting via aging).  If so, I would assume the math favours Rose.

Ally Ewing finished T22, and was #34 coming into the week at 2.91.  Not sure how it shakes out with her and Yin, but per above I assume Rose still has the advantage?

Edit:  not sure when the points from Rose's win get a lower weighting?  I guess that is the one way she could see her average change.

Wow...

Lexi got bumped by Lee?

I love Lexi, just wish she played better.. Fix her chipping and putting..

She shot a 76 and 80, for 12 over par on Thursday/Friday this week.  She has played 22 rounds of competitive golf since March (not counting International Cup) with only five of those being under par.

Ping G425 MAX Flat Big + (Grand Bassara 29R)

Adams Idea Pro A12 Proto 16* and 20* (Adams Ultralight 50 Ladies)

Honma Rose Proto 4-9  (Bassara 50HI)

ProtoC P2 46.5* (Bassara 50HI)

Ping Glide 4 52* and 58* (BAssara 50HI)

Actually....warming up to this U.S. team.  I thought there weren't enough killers on the U.S., but after seeing MK stare down Linn Grant, SYK, JYK, and the 18th hole, she showed something.  Also, Lilia Vu throwing down F bombs when she hit it in the trap coming down the stretch at the Women's Open was awesome.  Plus, Ally Ewing and Angel Yin are two baddies as well....not to mention Kupcho and DK.  Maybe they have a good combo.

Happy that Angel was picked...

Me too. Deserves it - too bad Stacey's hand are tied with Lexi - maybe Lexi turns it around here and fires her up.  OTOH, Stacey's already planned for Lexi to play less it seems (sounded like it by stating Lexi will have more of a different role in Golf Today).

Also glad Andrea just decided to make it herself by finishing T13 last weekend.  Case solved!

Why in the world would the LPGA have a soccer star reveal the pickings.  You mean to tell me they couldn't have used a former Solheim Captain announce them.

gotta bring in the same skill and determination (and not favoritism that tanked) that WNT showed at the world cup this year lol

Weak US team as I see it and even though the euro picks weren't great, they really have the dominant team here. Way to many weak or out of form Americans.

US girls are playing great this year .. just not the ones you'd expect. Def an improvement over 2021 team if you ask me!

Hmmm not sure, your pretty much playing 10 as I don't see Lexi or Danniele Kang playing at all until singles. Nelly is not playing great, and the likes of kupcho, knight, Corpuz and Ewing aren't going to worry the top end of the euro side in matchplay.  Even Rose is a total unknown in this situation so can't be relied upon. But hey, maybe I'm euro and stirring the pot a little bit I do see us winning with daylight this time and on our soil.

Early in hand photos of the new GT2 models t the truck.  As soon as they show up on the range in player's bags we'll get some better from the top photos and hopefully some comparison photos against the last model.
