Yeah, but they are J-spec custom shop Mizunos. They run about $1500 to $2000 depending on your options.

From years gone by... I played these from '85 to '93.... I still take them out on rare occasion.

I bought these in '90, used, and still play them. The only irons that have stayed around my bag for more than a couple years. Plan to have them refinished and put on display.

titleist 681. it's one of the smallest (if not the smallest) heads made. it sports a understated classic design and is as clean as can be. plus it performs and is soft as butter if you have a swing to match its timeless design.

 

i also have the titleist 670. looks almost identical to the 681 -- except that it is about 10% larger (although still a tiny blade) and about 25% more forgiving.

I think most of us love the look of an iron with which we just crafted a fine shot.

 

If I rummage through fifty years worth of beat up golf clubs, the ones that hit the most memorable shots are the ones that catch my eye.

 

Also, the ones that were in play when my wife presented me with a child, or when the Red Sox won a pennant--they're identified also.

 

And of course, the hand me downs from gone but not forgotten relatives are in the special group, too.

 

Irons can look great on the rack or on the website, but they can actually become even better looking in time.

One of the best looking irons I have ever owned was the Srixon Pro 100, a pity my game wasn't up to it :russian_roulette:
