I have seen that Hogan poster and wished I had a copy or at least a high resolution, non-jpg, image of same. Does anyone know where I could get one or do you have a hi-res version you could send me?

 

I am proud to say that I have a set of most of those irons pictured, in various degrees of wear. All from eBay and most for pretty cheap (or better). And I still play some of them from time to time.

My personal favorite of all time ...

Ive used the MP32s on and off since they came out. Although I found them quite functional, I never thought they looked all that great from the back. The crease looks odd to me, like it's a wing or something. But I have to admit when you get the "Mizuno" off the bottom they look a lot smoother. Did you get them that way originally or did it have to be ground off? I wouldn't want to do the latter as it would take several grams off weight from the club.

Something about miura's logo(old and new), just looks stupid and tacky to me. Lets the club down IMO.

Just kidding. However, while you guys have shown some very beautiful clubs in this thread, there is really nothing attractive to me about a set of clubs I can neither hit well nor afford. To me, clubs that inspire confidence that they will take care of me when my swing goes astray is more attractive. I will say, though that I have tried and actually did enjoy the original KZG forged cavities, but did not care for the II-M's which were supposed to be the more forgiving of their offerings.

 

 

Maybe one day I will have the game to play some of these beauties you guys are showing here.

seriously, some of these clubs are breathtaking...the Miura blades and the Blade golf entry are above are spectacular.

 

that said, I wonder if one covered up the cool insignias and just went pure line aesthetics, would my feelings be different...
