i've been playing Mizuno MP37's since they came out and the only iron since then that has appealed to me is the new MP68. I do also have a set of Niked Forged Blades which are also stunning.

cleveland cg1 black pearl. saw these initially quite a few years ago when i saw vijay playing them and wondered what they were. looked into it and found what they were and, to be honest, was left speechless with their pure and unadulterated aesthetics. beautiful

I have to say, I just saw the Hogan WITB museum thread, and the Hogan Percussions are the most gorgeous irons I've ever laid eyes on.

 

 

These look to be a special version with the notching on the back of the topline (like a blend of the '68 Bounce Sole), but they're all just yummy!

I'll second the motion on the off-the-rack style Percussions.

The notches on that special version just make it look a bit cheap and flashy compared to the classic simplicity of the standard version.

Well I have to say the MP 100 (I think thats what they were, from the OP), and the mint MP14 were some of my favorites.

But I am bias to my irons though, Scratch TD Smoked Satin finish.

As others have said...Nike forged blades...pure, simple, gorgeous. I bought a set for $300 in excellent condition and all I've done is look at them.

ill say though aesthetic is only part of it when you're assessing beauty. club has to feel great at impact and have superior performance to truly be "beautiful" imho. its relatively easy to come up with a pleasing looking form, getting the grind and forging right from a performance perspective takes talent and superior manufacturng processes, and where many manufacturers fall short imho

I almost bought a set of those MacGregro MT Pro-M over the weekend at Golfsmith's. They were $399 with a free Hybrid or Wedge. Then I saw at the counter that the wedges were buy one get one free $99, so $50 a piece. So tempted!

BTW, I never really cared for clubs as long as they perform. Then I found this forum and now all I want to do is read and search Ebay and Craigslists. I've become a club HO!

Well, after looking at this entire thread, while at work, I must say that my irons are among the ugliest. But for the couple hundred bucks I paid for a new set, I'm pleased. I really want to hit another set of forged irons, my macs are the only one's I have ever struck and as good as they feel, there are so many better irons out there its ridiculous.

I bought them for looks alone - I could do with a slightly more fogiving iron but I just love to look down at these beauties. Even if I change my irons, I'll keep hold of these to take out now again for sure...

i recently bought a back up set that may become my main spot in bag . they are the cobra ss forged and they are everything everyone ever said about them...not too small..not too big...forgiving yet controllable. i love the soft sweet feel of center contact. But from a looks point of view...chrome shiny goodness!
