New Sqairz Model - Speed Bold

would normally scoff at such a claim if it weren't for a pair of running shoes that I have, that I'm convinced provides me better ground force perception and results in better ball striking.  agree they aren't the prettiest though.

Given the fact that there are countless other shoes out there that are good-looking AND comfortable, stable, and waterproof, I'm guessing that "looks" isn't anywhere on your list, let alone somewhere near the top. And that's fine -- but it doesn't mean that anyone who can't get past the looks long enough to consider any benefits of the shoe is a troll.

The new model looks fine.   For those of you who returned Sqairz, was it largely because they were wider than you thought they'd be?  Not as comfortable?  Heavier?   Just curious.  I don't mind the price and I like the looks, but in photos they look like they are designed more for someone with a wide foot.  But maybe that's just the photos.

Looking into Sqairz, I absolutely, positively would drop $230 on these… if they didn’t have SQAIRZ on the sides, top, AND bottom of the shoe. There’s gaudy and then there’s sqairz. Please for the love of God find an excellent shoe designer.

I got a pair of these about 2 months ago and they are the most comfortable shoes I have had since the original Adidas Adipures! However the Sqairz  are much lighter than the Adipures.  I am not sure about them adding more distance but they do feel very stable. These are named "Bold" so the looks are a little bold but I like them. The shoe laces they give you have little rubber nubs about every half inch which is a pretty cool little feature. Helps them stay put when you pull them tight and they stay tied. I have some Footjoy tour X's with the BOA and I will never buy BOA shoes again, they constantly pop open for me during a swing!

I have a pair of Speeds.  Very comfortable and in person they look good. 

 

I agree with the comment above about Adidas Adipures.  I would buy them again if available.  The current Adidas shoes are not as good and only have a one year waterproof warranty.

I'm considering these shoes as someone who cares a lot about wide toe box shoes. I wear True's mostly now. Can anyone snap a picture of the shoe liner pulled out and compare it to either a normal shoe liner or better yet if you have True's, show me that shoe liner? I'm trying to get a real sense to the wide toe box.

@CCUgolfer23Agree, funny 😂 claim for sure, and I am a Faldo fan.  A unique marketing spin.  

 

I have been wearing Sqairz for 2yrs now, fabulous shoes, very stable and comfortable, however, I have NOT gained a yard from them.  I attribute ANY distance gains  with driver to Ventus Velo TR Blue stiff shaft in TSR2 10'.

I don’t have any True.  But these are the 4 that I were most.   I have them imo order of comfort IMO L-R 

 

The Ecco are 47w all others are standard 14
