Mine was still showing 3-4 months backorder when I called to cancel earlier this week.  Long story short I had ordered Seemore Mini Giant Deep Flange a few years ago and had never gamed it so I decided to send it back to Seemore to have them extend it to 36” (play my putter at 33”), make the head weight 380g and add a SuperStroke 17” grip.  I’ve gamed a Seemore predominately since about 2008, every time I leave my putting struggles and I go back, so figured if I was going to try counter balanced it made sense to do it with an design I knew I liked.

I agree. Especially for placing one of the first orders and sounds like others will get them in sept. Will definitely bail if that’s the case.

I’m not in the equipment industry but it’s not like they’re building cars.  These are relatively simple products

Agreed!  These aren’t cars.  I’ll hold off on my Versa 7 purchase until the Jailbird comes in stores.  I’d like to compare them both.  I feel my current putter is too light and I need a change.

I just talked to them and they didn't think the December date was real and that the system probably just put a date on them since they aren't officially released yet. Said that they will start shipping in two weeks and once they are released in their system they will know exactly when. I'm going to wait until that week to see but if it really is Dec I doubt I'll wait that long.

that’s my plan also. Not going to jump the gun and cancel until I know for sure it’s sept or Dec

That makes more sense.  September seems to be what they were always shooting for with this release

Where are you seeing the estimated ship date? Ordered mine morning of the release but I don’t see an estimated ship date anywhere.

That’s pretty much what Callaway told me. Looks like there’s a lot of early Sep and 12/4-12/8 and nothing in between so hopefully it’s just a default date or something.

And schenk just dropped another birdie putt on the day without the jailbird.  This one was for 31 ft.  
 

Two 30+ ft  and a 20+ ft putt for birdies and an eagle hole out through 6.  Looks like he’s still playing some kind of odessey putter.

I pulled out my 2018 Scotty Cameron 5.5M last night to play around with and as ugly as it is, it is an extremely stable putter. Might game it once this hurricane passes.

Who would have thought that a Scotty would be a poor man's jailbird 😂
