... Before the season started I said Young will struggle in the NFL and Richardson would be a bust. The only QB I liked was Stroud, but like everyone else I didn't expect him to be this good this fast. Channeling Denny "Young is who we thought he was". I could be completely wrong about Richardson but I just felt like he would mirror Jamis Winston trying to force too many passes, trusting his strong arm and throwing ill timed picks.

... I lived 5 blocks away and I walked to the Hancock building several times in those conditions. They put up ropes on the sidewalk to hold onto. Before allowing that to fully enter my memory I'm gonna look at the forecast for temps in the 70's starting Tuesday. 😎

My guess is that he was referring to similar conditions in the Windy City. I also experienced those conditions in Chicago. Used to stay at the JW Marriott on Adams and walk 5-6 blocks to the office on N. Franklin. Even though I traveled extensively in my career, it wasn’t until those Chicago winters that I finally broke down and bought earmuffs and a scarf.

... Exactly. People died when the Marble at the top of Water Tower place broke off when the wind was so strong at well below zero wind chills. Any of these Northern cities right on the lake like Chicago, Cleveland and Buffalo and subject to the Canadian Jet Stream can have those insane conditions like we se in the video. And as those of us that lived there know 0 degrees with no wind ain't too bad at all, but 15 degrees with a windchill of 0 is brutal. The worst day I experienced had a windchill of -87* below zero. That is 130* difference than a few days in July this summer in Phoenix. 😱

... I have an 85" screen and it looked good to me. As I have said before, I only subscribed for a year at $19 because I haven't had access to NBC for 2 months as Tenga Inc is holding everyone hostage that won't accept their increased fees and Direct TV won't pay 'em.

I've said before how I HATE changing my pick once I make one, but I changed just in time to KC,,,,,,,,,,,, & finally got one right.

 

I changed for a couple of reasons.

 

As you might know I live in SoFla. I already knew Tyreek was a little dinged up but would play. I knew Waddle had been troubled by an ankle as well.

 

During the day yesterday, one of the guys on the radio said he'd been there at the Dolphins practice on Thursday, and whlie Waddle was practicing, he was very obviously favoring that ankle,,,, a LOT.

 

I also knew Miami was hurting on "D". But the radio guy gave a really surprising stat. From the Dolphins opening day defensive starters, only 2 were playing in the game. (<--- I MAY have changed anyway, but THAT was the tipping point that made me change the pick).
