Pretty even distribution of the options. Good example of how wacky this game is. Is Philly really that bad? Is Tampa any good? Will Philly’s D give up the Under all on its own? Tampa couldn’t get into the end zone against Carolina.

I am all set for another double header of NFL Wildcard Playoff games. 

 

I started my wings this morning with their brine bath. Then I rinse them off and patted them dry. Next I massage clarified butter on the pieces. I then add the rub and let them air cool in the fridge for 6 hours. I cook them first for 30 minutes at 250*. Then I crank the oven up to 425* for 40-50 minutes. I brush the BBQ sauce on during the last 5 minutes of cooking time. Photo is of the rub and sauce I use. 

I picked up a pepperoni and mushroom pizza from one of my favorite pizza shops Blaze.

This is my current favorite adult beverage. Sweet Water Brewing out of Atlanta makes excellent products.

My buddy Aaron "Hickory" decided to spend today gambling and will watch the games at the Harrah's Casino down in Cherokee, NC. The casino is 63 miles south of Asheville.

Neither NCL. I don't ever dip my wings in a sauce. I don't like to mask their flavor.

Steelers had to play a clean game to have any chance, maybe even a chance to cover the 10 points.  Hopefully for my sake they can close the gap in the 2nd half.

I am going back to my original Pick. I had Baker and the Bucs at the start of the week and then switched it to Philly thinking they were a stronger team. I have seen enough articles like this today. That team lacks unity. The heck I want to make a Pick when his the situation with the Eagles. I certainly don't feel good laying the 2 1/2. I want those points with the home team.

The Bills -10 was going to be my original bet before I heard about the weather. Then I would have DIPon the under if they played in howling winds and snow.
