Back in the frozen tundra trying to dig my way out at work.  Flights were perfect which was surprising with all the storms, but nothing where we were.

I think I have 8 picks to make this week, so let's get right at it.

 

During The Wheel, Bobby might sing, "If the thunder don't get you then the lightning will."  Well, Houston, there is a good chance they are both going to get you this weekend.  Baltimore covers and I will take the Over.

 

Green Bay is heading to the Golden Door, and they will be getting a most rude awakening.  San Fran in a runaway.  Over.

Please switch my SF/GB pick to Over. The more I think about it, I think SF runs away with this game. GB gets garbage points in the 4th Q.

 

I’m getting queasy about taking Houston and points. Looking at their schedule, they didn’t face a playoff team in the last 10 games except the Browns. I’m still hoping their D will keep the score down, but I’m waffling. Not changing my pick yet.

 

I feel best about Lions over Bucs. Bucs remind me of the Giants last year. They won a playoff game and then got pounded.

 

Buffalo has a ton of injuries, mostly on defense. Their punter and FG holder pulled a hammy last week. Bills signed a punter today, who has been out of the league since ‘21. Will field position come into play because of that? Snap and hold are big timing things on FGs. As much as I want to see Josh Allen get to a Super Bowl, I still have KC winning this game. Bills line up for game winning FG and new guy drops the snap. Viva Tony Romo!
