Yeah I get it. Pretty petty/ridiculous, but like it or not (unfortunately) how SM is and has been since what feels like forever. Add the fact the person (Tiger) in this particular video has had a well publisized situation (while driving) in a similar state, definitely compounds things. 🤷🏼‍♂️😊

I really don't care how TW presents himself to be honest, but I do wonder when it even became remotely socially acceptable to host a charity event and get hammered at it. Sorry but that ain't exactly displaying any class in my book. But hey, he's a celebrity\sport hero so let's give him a pass right?

 

All that said, maybe the bigger disappointment to me was that IMO it is in somewhat poor taste that anyone felt it was ok to go ahead and do the shoot and post it once it was realized TW was, not at his best, shall we say.

Tiger didn’t answer an interview question openly for 20+ years and carefully curated an image of himself that proved to be phony.  So yes, people who have followed him for a long time are going to have a reaction when he now goes on camera totally trashed.  But Vegas I guess 🤟🏻

Yeah I agree, he can do whatever he wants at this point.  I’m just pointing out the reason I think this is a bigger story than it needs to be.  People who have lightly followed Tiger are probably a little shocked to see him like this, it is a departure from how he has been on camera forever.  Maybe it was a pop up interview and happened fast, I’m kind of surprised his handlers let him get recorded.

I think it’s great TW so much more relaxed, he just don’t care, not about golf or nothin, not in the same insanely obsessive way he used to

 

Getting $hit faced is a bad look, is it a sign of more of an issue? Well, TW was hooked on meds I mean he was hooked on pills went to rehab right?

 

So, ideally it’s a “one off” and he was bombed because he’s not used to drinking now. I mean, my drinking is so limited now I get bombed off 2 beers. 
 

If it’s something else, like he mixing booze and pills, not good, gotta go back to Betty Ford yo!

His last accident didn't injure or kill anyone, it's why Tiger is human? Yeah, "big deal"..... nothing wrong with a few drinks mixed with pills?.... FWIW, at that event he should remain with some class and dignity. Cheers.

It's by the grace of God that I'm still here after the life I've led in the past.  People make mistakes and hopefully learn from them.  I think we would both agree that the situation is sad.  My hope would be that it's recoverable and something that can be learned from and moved on from.

Tiger just isn't playing enough competitive golf IMO to get back into "golf shape."  He's earned the right to show up and do whatever he wants at these events but it's beyond sad to see him struggle for 2 rounds and miss cuts.  Then we rinse and repeat the hype of "Tiger is getting that swing going!" for the next tournament to play out the same way.  I don't see how the U.S. Open is going to be any different, especially at Pinehurst.
