Anyone else watching?  There have been some great games with unbelievable performances.  Looking like a Phils/Astros rematch in the WS.

Watched Garcia get drilled after showboating a HR. He's lucky Bob Gibson wasn't pitching, he might not have made it to 1st. base.

Dude got drilled by a 100 mph pitch in the ribs and still was ready to brawl. No old school guy would want to face Adolis. He’s built like a pro running back lol. Let’s go Rangers, time to bounce back verses those stinky cheaters.

Like it or not, the game has changed a lot in the last several years. Guys now “showboat” big HRs regularly. Just yesterday I read something in the tour sub that this reminds me of. What is “tradition”? Peer pressure from the dead.

I met Adolis several times when he played for Triple A Memphis. My wife is fluent in spanish so we could talk, really a nice guy.  He's put together no doubt. As for old school guys don't underestimate them, many of them, like Hank Bauer, faced a lot worse in their day.

I’ve always been a huge baseball guy. Loved the playoffs. But this year, after my Dodgers slumped off into the offseason, I just can’t seem to get the interest level back to where it should be. 
 

God, I wish the Dodgers had Bochy or Baker on the bench instead of Roberts.

After finally giving up on the A’s (well more like Fisher) I focused on my #2 team, the Dodgers (CA and went to college ~20 miles from Dodger Stadium). It was tuff seeing them blow it in the postseason again. I know it’s a “hater” mentality, but now my rooting interest is anyone but Houston. And I still love playoff baseball.

What an exceptional ALCS game 6 last night! That Garcia slam while getting aggressively boo’d was movie script stuff. I don’t like watching sports “tapped” and I’m leaning towards giving tonight’s game 7 precedence over MNF.

As a Cardinals fan I'm a little miffed on how we get rid of future superstars for next to nothing. First it was Arozarena now Garcia and Montgomery. Texas ought to send the Cardinal's front office a thank you note.

I guess I'll pull for Texas.

How cold is it up there? Interesting side note. This is the first postseason game 7 the Phillies have EVER played.  That 141 seasons!

Sunny with a high of 67 today.  55 at time of first pitch and could be in the 40's by game's end.

As a SF Bay Area resident that isn’t a Giants fan, it’s been fun seeing Bochy killin’ it w/the Rangers after Zaidi pushed him out for Kapler.

Here as well. That said, Bochy was like a god to the Giant’s fans and a tuff act to follow. From what I’ve heard the G’s moved on from Kap bcs they felt he was a big reason they weren’t landing big name free agents.

I would have never believed it, even after Texas made the postseason. Bochy is money! Sweep the AL East and knock off the reigning champs.
 

I was shocked that Baker pitched to Garcia in the 4th inning with 1st base open. Game was still within reach at that point (6-2). After Garcia’s 2-run single, not so much.

 

Bochy’s challenge will be cobbling together a rotation of 2 starters, 1 closer and a bunch of shaky arms over a 7 game series, just like he did against Houston.

Oh yeah TL! Both WC teams and both were 100(+) loss teams just 2 years ago!
On another note, w/the Phillies out, we don’t have to worry about a WS game getting postponed for cold/snow! 😂 Looked cold there last night 🥶
