I was never able to get them into the turf very well. Perhaps the north Texas turf had a lot to do with that.

I’m sure the Texas turf does- when I play in other places besides the Northeast, I’m amazed at my distances when the ball rolls. 😊

I am also a bit of a sweeper/picker with a relatively shallow stock swing.

My 2 favorites: Callaway Rogue ST Pro, Mizuno Pro 223 (haven't tried 243 but basically the same).

Honorable Mention: Edel SMS Pro (or regular SMS).

JPX923 Forged, Pro 223/243, T200, T150, PXG 0311T, P770, Apex Pro, King Tour, Fourteen TB-5 or TB-7 depending on how big you want to go, Miura TC-201, Wilson DynaPower Forged, Ping Blueprint-S or i230. That should about cover it.

Your search sounds like what I look for in an iron. I've tried the Mizuno JPX 900/919/921 Forged, Ping i210, Cally Apex & Apex Pros, among others, and you really should give the Maltby TS1-IM's a shot. I know it doesn't say Mizuno, Ping, Callaway, or Titleist on the bottom, but you wouldn't know it. And that's before we even start talking price tag...

FYI; both those irons have high bounce and more than minimum offset.
