Thanks for the details! I don’t think I could do much with that loft unfortunately. Too bad, that face profile sort of gives me 906f2 vibes (which is a good thing). In 13.5 that would be tough to say no to!

I like the looks of this version better. Why didn't they go all in with the retro styling to begin with?

This is going to be unpopular, and you guys are going to flame me. I think they should have switched the up the color scheme, copper on the carbon and black on the leading edge. It’s just my opinion, that would have meshed better with the retro theme. It would have provided more pop at POS. The customers that hate the copper aren’t going to buy it anyways. It would have been a good way to differentiate the product like the original did. Plus it would have given homage to the original Watts origin story.

Anyone notice the eBay post has 2 different crown images? One with the copper leading edge and the one with the copper carbon. Seems suspicious.

I'm right there with you, but these things hold their value very well. It's hard to even get an Original One in decent condition for less than $300. That being said, I really do love my Original One.

I only saw images with copper leading edge. There was a view from address and another one from face on. The one from face on is harder to see the black carbon due to the angle and the shrink wrap reflection. If there was another image showing more copper on the top, it must have been removed.

That is exactly was the original brnr mini was my dude. Unless that is what you were referring to.

They broke embargo. Places will get them before announcements so they can have the goods on hand when they do short notice launches.  TaylorMade isn't as harsh as Ping or Titleist when it comes to this.

I was referring to the painted copper color, as opposed to the light specks of copper in the carbon from the original. Although I do like the specks of copper as well.

2nd Swing Scottsdale has 20 in stock. They go on sale tomorrow. This appears to be a simple cosmetic tweak. Everything about the club seems identical to last years model.

why not just keep the brnr from last year and focus on some technology or something

 

they just always need to come out with something need to make that money.
