I haven't heard anything, but I would think so. The SLDR mini was a flop, but ever since they jumped back in with the Original One, the mini has been part of their regular rotation [OO ... 300 ... Brnr ... ? ] so it's probably just a "when" not an "if."

I hope they dont resurrect the white headed R11 type mini driver. I was very happy when that fad died.

They went through two runs of the BRNR Mini and sold out both. Don’t care what other people say about mini drivers like they don’t sell and all that. Tmag has proven with the last three versions the do sell and that’s why you continue to see them. I’ve heard the TSR 2 wood/ mini will probably not go retail which I don’t know why? It will sell in limited runs and I’m sure the PXG secret weapon will too if they release it.

I was first introduced with the sldr mini back in the day with Fuji 7.3 shaft. Miss that thing. Then had a m6 rocket. Super excited to get the new one.

I wouldn't call the SLDR S Mini a flop. It was no less successful than any of the recent runs.

They came out with an update in the following cycle (Aeroburner) and if any TM mini driver was a flop I'd say it was that one.

SLDR S was one club. The TP option was just a shaft upgrade. Aeroburner they did a weird thing were the Aeroburner Mini and the Aeroburner Mini TP were actually different heads and they probably sold nowhere near enough to justify two models.

Oh yeah, forgot about the Aeroburner mini. Regarding the SLDR S Mini, I really don't think they sold many of them, especially given how popular the regular SLDR line was. It seemed to be viewed by most people as a novelty (or more negatively, a gimmick) at the time, and it just wasn't a good club. It had no pop to it, so it couldn't keep up with hot-faced fairway woods, and wasn't easy to hit off the deck. I tested it many times and ultimately got the Ping Rapture 13, which actually had more juice and versatility. But I'm glad TM returned to the category, because the Original One was solid, and they nailed it with the 300. I loved the feel and performance of that club. I liked the Brnr, too, but it was/is a little too cumbersome, IMO. For the next round, I would like to see TM take some of the Brnr and 300 tech and put it into a smaller package -- actually the size of SLDR S would be about right (260 cc). That's partly why I'm excited about the Titlesit 2 wood (and the fact that I'm a fan of the brand ⬇️)

It's funny, I have to sldr mini (12 and 14) an aeroburner tp (12) and a 300 mini (13.5).  I think the sldr mini is the easiest to hit off the deck.  The 300 mini is long, but not much longer than the sldr.  It is more forgiving than the sldr on mishits and has a moderately better feel.  I agree with someone above—the aeroburner was the flop.

Interesting ... yeah, I was basing my post on my SLDR S experience at the time, which was -- wow -- 10 years ago now. Anyway, it's cool that you have them all and can actually compare them head to head today. (Regarding hitting off the deck, I guess it makes sense that the SLDR, because of its smaller size, would have an advantage). I wish I had kept all of the Mini drivers I have owned over the years (Rapture, OO, 300, Brnr) but I sold them all.

Count me amongst the SLDR Mini apologists - I've got one currently in 12* with an Aldila Rogue Silver 125 and it has plenty of pop to go around.  Stupid fun club to hit.  It's not as forgiving and "point and shoot" as the BRNR mini and lacks the adjustability, but for a 10 year old version of a club that Taylormade has put a decent amount of R&D into, the SLDR mini is not a bad little club at all.

Hard to see how much more juice Taylormade can squeeze out of its minis at the moment.  BRNR is probably their most successful, and there doesn't seem to be a ton of "new tech" they can bring to the table, unless they want to start playing with carbon faces or aggressive weight adjustability, which doesn't really seem necessary for this club to be successful.

I've not been thrilled with their "re-release it once a year with a new coat of paint and a new name" theme in their drivers, and I sure wouldn't like to see them start to go down the same road in their minis, either.  BRNR still has another year of solid sales run in it, I would hope.  And it's not like there are many competitors in this space at present, although I feel like we might be a few years away from a different landscape in which many of the major OEMs have a 2 wood/mini driver option...

They have a rerelease of the burner coming out, nothing about the club is changing besides the bottoms will have a Taylormade logo, and the toe with have the burner logo, and there will be copper on the top, not all of it but just on the front.. also copper 790s and 770s in copper.. today the qi10 copper came out as well

The SLDR S Mini was not a flop. It was very successful because it was spinny and you could easily smoke it off the deck. The Original One was the version that was the total flop.

???? If there was any version of the mini that was a flop it was the Aeroburner. SLDR was good, but it could have been better IMO. The tour verision of the SLDR with the long hosel is what should have been the retail release. I had a 10.5* in the tour only version and off the tee it was as long as any driver at the time and more workable. The Original One was a great mini driver and honestly the 300 was a step backwards if you ask me. I play the BRNR now and it’s as good as anything out there for me off the tee.

I think the BRNR mini got a decent amount of use on tour because of its size. It’s great for those guys that want something less than driver but don’t want or need to carry a 3 wood.

I would expect Taylormade to update it or release a new mini at some point pretty soon.

I agree the BRNR is the best of the lot off the tee. Agree the Aeroburner Mini was a flop.
