What’s the best lightweight hoodie? Holderness and borne, greyson Peter millar, Johnnie-o??

Its a brand i absolutely despise for numerous reasons. But they have my vote for the best hoodie. ( Its my strictly for winter use only hoodie 40F-50F).

lol I despise that brand but I’m also looking for a lightweight on course pullover type.

TM is a very close 2nd, but those are a bit 'beefier'.

What’s up with the sizing on these? The smalls I’ve checked on eBay show 22” across the chest. Even the polos I’ve looked up seem like they run big. 
 

Then the other style hoodies (that I don’t really care for), they want like $250+ for. I’d love to own some of their items but I always end up dismissing them. 
 

It sucks too because I’d dress like Ashkay everyday if I could. Good thing for him he gets the stuff for free ha. 
 

Back on topic: I usually end up wearing my Legends brand hoodies on course/to the range. If you haven’t checked them out, they’re awesome. They run great sales. The Hawthorne hoodie is my go to. The regular version, not the tech.

Lululemon textured double knit cotton hoodie (used to be the at ease hoodie). Not cheap but super comfy and great for golf. I really like that it has no sweatshirt draw strings. I hate hoodies that have them and flap around when you swing. I have two of the Lulu hoodies and recommend them to everyone

I have two Millar hoodies that are... ok.  Don't love them, don't hate them.  For all of the shirts, pullovers, and vests of theirs I've owned over the years, these don't seem quite as high quality.  

Just bought a Johnnie-o and it's definitely a bit heavier.  Wore it a few times this winter and it worked well. 

Own a Foot-Joy one that I like a lot.  Side pockets, which I prefer to the big uni-pocket on the front of the other brands.

Used to have a RLX hoodie that I loved, except that the tag on back of your neck was huge and crazy uncomfortable.  Literally had to stop wearing it due to the tag.  Such a shame.

Big fan of the Swannies Camden hoodie for the price.  Love Johnny O and the like but have a hard time dropping $150+ on stuff like that.

The Footjoy lightweight hoodie is pretty solid. I picked one up a few years back, fits well and is a nice weight.

I can’t agree more.

 

The Bearbottom ‘roam’ collection is awesome. Idk about the joggers but the shorts are 5.5” inseam whereas LLL at ease are 7”. I just wish they had more colors. 
 

Also, the Swannie’s Camden as mentioned earlier seems to use a similar material but I haven’t tried one yet.

I have a few Rhoback's and they are just ever so slightly heavier than the Greyson Colorado hoodie.  The Greyson also has no pockets.  I can wear them all year really.  In the mornings and evenings during the summer, or with a vest over in the cooler months.

 

Nothing wrong with Rhoback at all, just my preference.

They're all nice.  Millar more classic, Gfore more bold, Greyson a mixture.  I'm a Greyson fanboy, Millar would be 2nd and Gfore 3rd if we're just talking these 3 brands.

I'm all in on Greyson as well. PM would be a close second, then Rhoback. Will have to look at the LLL textured double knit. I prefer more fitted hoodies for golf so they don't have much loose material. The LLL say it's a classic fit. Do you guys that have them find them just right with the fit?

Rhoback and Millar are my favorites. Surprisingly I have not tried a Greyson yet, considering I have so much of their other stuff.
