Exactly what I was thinking. With his narrow build a 38 makes sense.

Love the Masters stamping. Also interesting that he's still got that T350 in the bag. Must be working for him. Although I also notice he's not playing the TSR2+ anymore -- back to a TSi2 15 degree set at A1. He had been playing the + 13 and then I think the +14.5. I wonder if that's a course-specific setup -- trying to go after par 5s in two??

He is tiny for his height with really narrow shoulders, so it wouldn't surprise me. Found out he's 6'2 so the Long sleeves makes sense.

Yea, saw max using the TR Black also. Anyone know why TR black doesn’t get more tour use? Only other guy I know is Horschel, and he wouldn’t scream that profile to me.

A lot of tour pros will tinker but most are reluctant to switch out of what they're comfortable with.  I myself love the TR Black.  However, the guys that gravitate towards it are usually the ones that have very aggressive transitions that hit the ball a mile.  It has a very stiff handle which doesn't appeal to the masses.  As for Horschel, while he doesn't have a ton of speed, he does have an aggressive move through the ball which is probably why he likes the TR Black.  It's also very stable/anti-left.  As for Max, he loves hitting that low cut and there isn't a better shaft for that IMO, than the TR Black and maybe Tour Z RPG Gold.

If one is bagging that putter, clearly aesthetics aren’t high on the list of  priorities. Just sayin’.

The TR Black is very stout in the handle. I really don't care for it in the driver at all, even though I've got some speed. It feels a little dead to me, and I used to play a Grafalloy blue...

I think the TR Black doesn't feel dead or harsh at all but by no means is it smooth.  I actually think the OG Black has less feel than TR Black.
