What is the graphite Scotty shaft in? Looks like his 5.5 has a standard chrome steel shaft in it.

That shaft was suppose to be just a separate thread about the new shaft.  Brooks isn't using it

Pretty much. It is a tweener in between the Qi core and LS model. Very similar to the ai smoke TD max being in between the TD and max models

 

I just do not know if they hot melt it custom for every player or it comes out all in the same specs.

Pretty sure that's Nike's doing right? I don't think they typically allow any other logos if you're head to toe in Nike.

I thought I remember hearing yesterday during the Wells Fargo coverage that Rory switched to the Core head?  Or am I making that up?

I think there's a set standard for hot melt in the dot and core heads.  I'll have to ask my tour pro client who I train.  He's on TM staff and plays the LS but obviously has the low down on the Qi10 line in general.

Brooks was using a plumber's neck Phantom 5 on the practice green. Not sure whether he will put the plumbers neck or the slant neck in play this week though. I have the Scotty 7.2 limited release from last year and I love it. Wish Scotty would make the plumber's neck a part of his stock release.

Still crazy to see the Teryllium gone - I love my 5.5 but that is easily one of my favorite models (along with Cam Smiths 009M).

The Cameron Rep handed him that new plumber's neck putter right after I shot the WITB and he headed to the course.  I've since shot the new putter and Brooks told me the new putter will be the gamer.

Yes I think he is a touch upright throughout the bag.

 

My guess is it helps him move start line further left to complement the fade.
