Nasa took nearly two minutes to hit her tee shot on the par 3 9th. Was there an earthquake in the Pacific Northwest? I couldn't tell if the hole was moving laterally several feet.

This is how a major championship course should play.  Fairways and greens are rewarded, errant shots are heavily penalized.

Somewhere in the GC pregame broadcast with Brandel and the other dude they mention she's trying something different with her caddy (less input from him, letting her select the club, etc) because she was way too reliant on him to tell her what to do and couldnt function without his input or some such. 

 

She seems to play fine in those YT videos shes in so idk what thats all about but her last three tournaments are proving that theory correct if what they said is correct.

Jeepers what a course this is with such massive trees . Wonder if it’s getting harder over weekend . If it is we may already have the winner in the top 20 or so. Doesn’t seem like a course someone can shoot 64

What a monster wedge shot on 18 to tie the lead. Such a steady golfer. She played old man golf today and it paid off while everyone else scrambled.

Dunno if anyone can look at it any other way. 

 

Someone goes on a run and the media and sponsors just start dumping on attention and expectations. It's a tough if not impossible thing to live up to. Look at what everyone did to Michelle Wie. Her career was wrecked by expectations. She could have dominated the LPGA for years if all the nonsense hadn't been piled on her. I actually admire how she was just all "Eff it." 

 

Tiger was an anomaly. Not everyone can handle the media and attention he could and did and still does.
