Lot's of good equipment out there, I am sure most of the OEM's could make something than any good player could play, it's not like you are pulling the clubs off the rack. I am sure you have to go with which ever company pays the most and then make sure they build the equipment to your liking. That being said I have always liked Ping, followd by Titleist, see my WITB. Callaway makes great clubs as well, but I would play pretty much anything if they have the ability to find what fits me.

Ping G400 Testing G410.  10.5 set at small -
Ping G410 3, 5 and 7 wood

Ping G410 5 hybrid-not much use.

Mizuno don't make putters? I wonder what I'm playing then...

Mizuno or Titleist, I'd be happy with either.

Well, Bettinardi is officially no longer with Mizuno. I believe they'll still make putters for them for another year but in Nov. Bettinardi will be releasing their own line. I don't think there's been an official announcement for Mizuno's future in putters.

MacGregor - I'd use my old 1954 MT blade irons, putter, and 70s persimmon driver, 3, and 4 woods as the prototypes for their new lines. Until they were finished, my towering 260 yard drives would usher in the new era of Persimmon. Their new line of wood grain oversized drivers (featuring "fauxsimmon") will be all the rage.

Either that H&B / Powerbilt or Slazenger (there must be a warehouse full of MacGregor Touneys and Slazengers somewhere)

Srixon if they made a putter I could use.
Bridgestone for the same reason.
Titleist if they made a driver I could use.
For complete bag, I could go Nike, Taylormade, Cleveland, and certainly Callaway

From your mouth to God's ear... Unfortunately, they are dead and Callaway killed them ever so slowly...

I honestly don't think I could pick one company. I would prefer to be like Ryan Moore and play what works for me as I have a pretty diverse bag.

But if I had a gun to my head, it would probably be Titleist since I play their irons, putter and ball. I could probably get full custom Vokey wedges that would be comparable to my TM Y-cutters. The problem would be with the driver, fw wood and hybrid. I have hit all the latest Titleist stuff in those categories and I can't stand any of them. What I would probably do is go for the Cobra gear as I had an L4V until I broke it and their fairway woods and hybrids aren't bad...

Old stuff:

ADAMS!!! I never thought that I would have ever tried their clubs but I bought into the 9015D hype and loved it. Then I picked up some A4 hybrids, some bty prototype woods. And I am currently looking at a set of A4 forged irons. If only they would make me a decent putter nothing special since I don't putt any better no matter what I try ( my putting isn't bad but no putter has helped me at all) and maybe a decent wedge but again I can live without great wedges.

Hmmmm..... I love my Mizuno Irons, and aside from the trials with other clubs, I always revert back to a set of Mizzys. I also love my Nike driver, and had played a set of Nike irons for a while. I've been intrigued by several Adams offerings lately as well, the Pro Black MB irons and the 9015D driver.... Which would I choose? Probably Nike because I love their drivers, their irons are awfully similar to the Mizzys I'm used to and I could possibly talk them into letting me game another company's putter (SeeMore).

Nike and it isn't close. They take great care of all their staff players and sooner or later you are going to win a Major Championship.

As for Ben Hogan, i meant that as a slam to callaway for killing them. I hope somebody buys the rights to that name soon, or his legacy may be forgotten.

I also wish more pros were like Ryan Moore. I would do the same as him. I am under Callaway, but still play my Hogan Apex's. Callaway doesnt want Hogan, because they are going to be coming out with new forges to compete with Titleist and Mizuno. Plus, they feel the name Ben Hogan doesnt capture the Kids coming up.

What a shame, I have been a Ben Hogan player for 20 years.
