TM580XD (after being re-shafted). Before the 580XD I struggeled off the tee with the driver. I went through every iteration of "Berthas" - Big, Great Big, Biggest, etc... and although I had some success, I never had any confidence. With the TM580XD, and aftermarket shaft , I began hitting fairways pretty consistently, with adequate distance.

I now have a TM Burner, HT model, but the 580XD was the club that convinced me that I could hit a driver.

Mine was my 1st Scotty Cameron, a 35"/330g Studio Stainless, bought from eBay at a great price. I STILL love this putter, even though I've bought/sold many Camerons, yet always kept this one. It has the best balance, setup, and feel of any putter I've used. It introduced me to Camerons, and helped me embrace my short game.

However.........I switched to it's identical cousin, a 34"/340g Studio Stainless, as it fits my setup better and the additional headweight smooths out my strok. However I still love this one best.

Mine is my Ping G10 4 wood with the TFC shaft. For some reason this club feels perfect to me and is my dart thrower off the tee. My driver is the most inconsistant part of my game and when I have to hit a fairway I feel confident I can put the ball in play every time with my 4 wood. Plus it's easy to hit off the deck and it's long.

I can't help but want to get the G10 driver with the stock shaft just to see if it has the same feel.

Well, until two weeks ago it was my original ping eye2 sw, thing is money out of the trap. But i recently purchased an Callaway xforged c grind 60*md and I am officially in love with it. I am actually contemplating buying the xforged 56*md 14* bounce wedge to replace my ping. The pings grooves are almost non existant after 20 years of play. just having trouble pulling the trigger

Titleist 975D with 6.5 degrees of loft. 7.5 Rifle shaft borethru played at 44.5 inches. I made a hole in one on a 357 yard downhill dog leg right par 4 on a course in the Kentucky State Parks system. I have the certificate framed and on the wall, and the club and head cover also. I did play with it a few more years. The only hole in one I have ever made.

Cobra HS9 5 and 7 woods. When I was a hacker, and many may still say I am, the HS9 fw got the ball up in a hurry and were so forgiving. Just an easy swing and I was in business. I even sporadically switch in the 5 wood every now and then.

My Bridgestone j33r 460, 12*, prolaunch blue. I love this club.

Ahhhh.... my white whale. If you EVER sell it, let me know.

The club that gave me the most satisfaction, albeit short lived, was the J33r 460 10.5* driver when I striped it.

Long term satisfaction... not even close, the Alpha v5 3w. It sounds the way a driver should sound. Workable, long, great looking, etc.

I don't have one club, but have a quite a few from different periods of time:

Driver: G5...hit passed 300 twice and drive a short par 4 green.

Fairway Wood: TaylorMade V-Steel....4 & 7 wood were deadly

Irons: Callaway Fusions...my hacker self could actually work these. I was fitted to them and I got lots of fun out them.

Wedges: Tie between the Callaway X Vintage and Titleist 200 Series Black Nickel

Putter: Scotty Cameron Studio Stainless Laguna 2.5 34"

My first vokey spin milled 56* wedge(oil can). I only had enough money for one wedge so I bought one of these. The thing became a friggin extension of my arm, I carried it with me everywhere, And was asked several times if it was just a cane with a club handle. I have sence moved on to a different setup and donated the club to one of the kids on a local middle school team but it was this club that helped me learn how to have a confident short game.

If I were smart, I'd go back and pick up another Steelhead 4+ fairway. With an X-100 in it, I used to be evil with that club. Last of the .335" and square faced Callaway FWs.

i also have several clubs that will i think of when i think of favorites. Most have been sold off, or moved along in one way or another, but that doesnt stop me from remembering them.

I had an old taylormade Raylor 16*, and hit that better than anything other 3 wood i ever owned. Loved that club.

I had an old 100% graphite (shaft, head, whole nine yards) cobra baffler with a (brass?) metal plate on the bottom with a couple of rails, also. Hit the hell out of that thing, and while learning the game i could use that as a go to club, and know i would get the ball airborne.

a great big bertha 3 wood 15* as well. Never got off the tee better with a 3 wood. still love that club, and when i sold it on ebay it was 4 or 5 years old, and fetched 115 bucks. loved the club.

Now i have a bettinardi c-06 putter (see avatar) that i love, but its been knocked out of the bag for a BC2.....might be time to custom order a putter tho....
