Nevermind on the whiteboard. Took the grip off and it had two, 4-inch cracks running down the butt of the club. Someone had put clear tape around one end of the shaft to try to stop the cracking. There were also like 5 wraps of grip tape running vertically up each side of the cracks (not wrapped on as usual)--seems like someone was trying to support the cracks. Also an extension shoved down the butt of the club to reinforce it from the inside. I'll post pics sometime if anyone is interested.

BUYER BEWARE!!! It's also a good practice to cut the grips off used shaft pulls when you get them. I'm amazed at the crap people try to cover up. But if I hadn't taken the grip off, I would have never known until the next grip change.

Be wary of any 42.5" 83s whiteboards on e-bay or the BST.

Taylormade R7 TP Japanese version with milled faces for only $210. I was surprised I got them at a price that was much so lower than my esnipe max bid, which I though was very conservative with zero chance of winning.

They have Dynamic Gold S300's but I am going to re-shaft with some new R300's I have sitting around. My G10's will still be my main set but I have wanted a set of these since they came out.

My nickel ISI's are going have to go but I am going to keep my ISI BeCu as one of my extra sets.

Just asked the manager for a deal on a used TM SFTP the sticker was 229.93 but the new ones are on sale for 199.99 so he sold it to me for 119.93. has the matrix HD6 with an SST Pure sticker on it. Also used some trade fodder and got it out the door for 107.00. I would call it 8.5/10 pretty happy been wanting one of these for a while.

TM V Steel 3wd, head is almost perfect, $15 at home clubs tent sale. It was with a bunch of junk clubs, I thought it was a good find! Also, the course was trying to get tid of some merchandise so I talked them down to $250 out the door for a brand new 910 D2 9.5 with a mft Diamana in it. The stock shaft is crap so I have a Tour PX 7c3 on the way for $55.

A couple months ago my club was switching out their loaner sets for current models. I scored a like new R11 driver, R11 5 w, and VR Pro Tour driver all with brand new headcovers and tools for $99 each. Although these were supposedly from the club guest loaner sets they literally had little to no marks and just needed a little soap and water.

Sounds like a tour issue one to boot since they didn't make one retail with the R9 graphics. Tour or not, that's a great deal.
