Good question... Cleveland CG15 Zip Groove wedges in the "satin chrome" finish I believe.

64* was like new, 56* was well used, however they both rated in excellent shape. I got $41 a piece for them so $82 total lol.

Maybe it's just me. I don't understand why people are putting items in here and saying "I got this for only $xx.xx with trade in credits." Unless they say, I traded in X number of clubs that I gave $xx.xx for originally. That way we REALLY know what kind of a deal you got.

It seems as I've offended you. That was not my intention.

My comment wasn't just directed at you. But there have been lots of posts throughout this thread like yours. It just makes it impossible for us to know what kind of deal you actually scored if you don't give all the details.

I could go trade in equipment that I had invested $1000 in originally to buy a new Ping G20 driver for $1. Is that a great deal?

Ok, I'll bite... I didn't pay anything for my 64* Cleveland as it was a Christmas present. I paid
$75 for my 56* Cleveland from a buddy. I traded them in for $41 a piece.

The 2 Vokey wedges I bought were priced at $25 and $30. The golf pride grips I had put on we're $5 a piece. The glove was $20. So that's $80. I basically paid for the tax on the wedges.

Make sense?

I traded in a set of Ping I3 blades for 90- Paid 100 over a year ago. So loss of $10 over a year. Also traded in a 2 year old Nike Sumo Sasquacth I paid 35 for and got 30 in trade in. So over a year or so I lost about $15. Not bad. The AMP was also $75 off so a fair deal I suppose.

SO I was in Golf Galaxy at lunch today not really needing anything when I ran across the pre-owned section. There I found a Callaway X Forged 58* lob wedge that was filthy. I didn't see any major dings/scratches so I took a chance and picked it up. I came home tonight and cleaned it up. I think the results are pretty good. Let me know what you think. BTW, the punchline is the last pic.
