White belts

I read somewhere that if your waist is not in the 30 inch range, you shouldn't rock a white belt. So until I lose some of the extra weight I have gained since my honeymoon, I can't pull it off. But I am a BIG fan.

JL and the Adidas are my pick.

I have 3 JL belts, a black one for work, a brown one for casual, and a white one for golf. Love 'em

A belt that is white is a white belt. All white belts are just belts which are white. All white belts are considered equal to other white belts, there should be no favorites because they are all white belts. Why am I replying to this post? Maybe I should start a snake skin belt thread. I rock 2 of those also .....rattler and python. How about a black belt thread? And of course the always favorite brown belt thread.

If you can pull it off, more power to you... with my current waistline, white belts are out of the question... I had one in the '70's it was cool with my bell bottom jeans...

Personally, I would match the belt to the trouser if I could. Phil had a cool green and a blue gator belt on at the masters. Wearing the white with any darker color slacks is proving you know poop about mens fashion, IMO. Thanks to all covering the look like a chick guideline so I don't have to! Also, +1 to the guy mentioning price...$105 for JL is insanity in a very simple form.

i have two pairs of golf shoes. all white and all black. i was always told match your belt to shoes. so why would i wear a black belt and white shoes?

I think white belts are about at cool as the white pants. I just don't get it. (Only exception being - unless you're being paid to wear them).

Trafalgar white java lizard -- picked it up at a Neiman Marcus outlet store in Colorado Mills Mall, Golden, Colorado for 55 bucks. Normally retails for 450 buck. Just enough black in the lizard pattern, that U can wear them with black slacks or shorts. Works well with white pants or shorts as there is enough contrast in the coloration in the belt. Have gotten many compliments on it. Size 34.

I have a 33" waist and the Medium is definitely the size to get. I mistakely got the Large first and it was way too long.

I have no personal preference as to make/model. I like white belts because I like white shoes.

My only rule with white belts...or belts in general...is that they match the shoes.
