Fubuki vs. Kai'li vs. BB

For me the two shafts feel completely different. The Fubuki is more boardy and the Kai'li was much smoother. That's just my personal take. I did get lower spin with the Kai'li but again that was my swing.

I'm swinging a little faster than you right now and for whatever reason, love my fairway wood setup (check sig). The only fairway wood setup I liked more, and it was slightly more, was the XCG-V with a Voodoo X in it (don't remember the weight). Still tinkering with driver, but have a few I'm testing- again check sig. I'm probably moving to a 73xWB and getting away from the '08 Tour Burner. Hits way too high for me. Good luck!

+1 This is a great chart. Unfortunately I have decided on the 'ilima 70 stiff instead the 3 shafts that I have listed in this thread, and its not on the chart. :fool:

According to the chart it looks like the WB 83 and Kai'li 80 are the lowest spinning shafts on the chart.

chart is also missing fubuki 83 tour. Looking at the progression from 63 to 73, i would guess that it would be in the lower end of the spin rate

OK, I understand now. Looking at the chart again I think you would be correct.

I wonder if MRC was the original source for the chart (vs Clubmaker Online) because when I contacted MRC directly they indicated that the Kai'li shafts are not as low spin as the whiteboard shafts (which according to this chart the Kai'li are infact lower for a given weight). The representative also specifically told me that "the whiteboard is the lowest spin MRC shaft." This information directly from MRC is the same that my clubmaker gave me when installing the 83s whiteboard in my 3 wood.

Hmm...Well at the bottom of the chart it does say that it is just a reference guide, and not an absolute measure of performance.

Maybe they are trying to push the Kai'li harder than the WB? You know maybe it will help sell or persuade people into the new Kai'li?

Hey thanks fellas! I definitely think I am going to stick with the WB. It was such a smooth shaft for me to hit. I ordered the Kai'li and will be putting that in the 3 wood ( im freaking out to play that club). TEE XCG 15 degree with 83 X Kai'li- will be taking bets against friends; Me-3 wood, them driver. I will let yall know who the winner is muahaha.
