i havent played mizuno blades since my junior golf days, i'd love to game those sticks

so I get this tweet from @golfwrx about how I can won this set of irons. So I venture over via the link. Wow nice set of irons I think to myself. In the hole golf deserves my business along with each and every poster on golfwrx. However I must say if I won these irons I would have no business playing them. As a 14 handicap on my best day I am more suited with my Cally X22 or other cavity back game improvement set of irons.

If I won the contest, I would prefer to have these irons sent to someone more deserving. That someone would be a soldier in the US Army who is currently protecting our freedoms overseas. They are far more derserving than I am of this new iron set.

I could really use these irons because I am still using a set of Big Bertha's that I got for Christmas in 2004 I think. I have gotten really serious about golf in the past year and can shoot in the mid high 70's even with irons with horrible grooves and nicks all over the faces. I haven't been able to get a new set because I have been in college where all of my funds go to greens fees and school and recently graduated in December. These would be a real game changer and would really help a still broke job seeker.

What a way to start a thread - talk about getting a hot thread going fast and Mizzy loyalty! I want me some new mizzy's because i'm gaming a set of 2002 big bertha irons and have been trying to create the justification to purchase a set for the last several months! Not to mention, i definitely need new clubs to sport at the World Am tourney in Myrtle Beach. Also, all the golf action shots will look better with mizzy blades, and my wife might not kill me for buying a set.

Thank for your the great offer. I've been a loyal mizuno iron player for over 10 years and ever since playing the mp-29, I have not been able to find a worthy replacement for these swords. I tried the mp-68 last week on the range and the feel at impact had a warm, softer feeling than the mp-29 . That is the feel I'm addicted to and I would love to continue my golf experience with a set of these mizuno irons.

Would love to try a set of these! I don't have money for new irons working my way through college, I am using a set from 6 years ago!

I always was a fan of Mizuno irons (just bought a set of MP-62´s again), they look so clean and simple and feel out of this world.
When I bought my Cally X-Prototypes I´m playing right now I was torn between the MP-68 and the Protos and finally decided on the Protos because I found a good deal. As time goes by I´m thinking, that the Mizunos might have been the better choice in terms of feel and looks. Please give me the chance to game these beauties.

I was just eyeing up these very clubs in my local shop the other day. Simply beautiful! I went away from Mizuno to my current MT blades, but the MP-68s are certainly calling my name. They've got the improvements over my old 37's that I would be looking for and, let's face it, you pretty much can't beat Mizuno when it comes to forgings. Pick me!
