Which is your favorite and why?

I know a lot of guys hate inserts. With all respect this thread is not for you, so please don't dump all over it. Even Scotty and Betti have insert putters. (cool)

Anyway, on to topic. What is your favorite insert (and putter) and why?

My favorite insert is easily the AGSI+. The roll is SO consistent off them on EVERY putter they are in. It's then a toss up between the Carbon fiber and the Titallium. I think that really depends on the putter. I LOVE the Carbon in my Japanese Itsy center but also really like the Titallium in the Fontana. I don't think I would like the Fontana with the carbon insert...

So.. What's it gunna be? Give your insert some public love so we can all appreciate it. Please feel free to include the method.. I think they may be the "next generation" of insert putter...

I'm not much of an insert man if I'm honest.

Given that the only putter, nay club, I've ever played that had an insert was one of Cameron's Teryllium Newports, I suppose I'd better vote for that one.

Unless my old Joe Powell TP driver counts?

I thought the DST insert was pretty nice and I wouldn't mind trying out the HSM, however I've never been able to keep an insert putter in the bag for long. They just seem to screw with my head since they're always just a bit softer than I would like.

I believe it has the most tour wins of any insert and a handful of majors.

I game the White Hot #7 and love it! Very consistent feel all around and my game has benefited from it very much.

But I was screwin off during my lunch hour and hit the Odyssey Tour #1 and the feel from that thing was amazing also. I might be picking one of these up soon.

HSM feels SO soft but so pure. Really like the feel but it lacks feedback.

John Byron Dale Head 3-Penny insert...it's stainless with a copper/blackstar insert or something like that. Rolls it very nicely.

For me out of the current crop I've tried the C-Groove by Yes! is unbelievable. I'm currently gaming the Yes! Sophia and it's remained in the bag for a solid 3 years... reason being is because it gives a consistent pure roll all the time and it's the only putter I've ever had which I actually feel very confident I'm going to sink the putt from 20ft in. The amount of long putts I sink with this thing is scary and I do it likewise with short putts. The C-Groove and Yes! in general is very underrated.

The yes grooves to give a nice roll but are very clicky, even hard i would say. I game a callie and its tough sometimes with the longer putts when you need feel to get it close.
