Hmmmmm, that is a tad redundant, isn't it? Let me clarify: significantly more of an attention ho than her fellow competitors.

(And in defense of most BB competitors, there is a legitimate goal - something more than just money (and something money can't buy). So, I don't think you can totally equate Big Breakers to, say, The Bachelor or one of those "Housewives of ___ " shows. Ho-wise, that is.)

Looks like Ryann is a legit threat to earn LPGA status and stay there. She closed with 65 today to come from behind and win the Futures Tour event in a playoff, after shooting -14 for three rounds.

It's Ryann's second victory of the season but the first was rain shortened to one round.

Ryann jumps to 6th on the money list. Top 5 earn full LPGA status for 2011 and 6-10 have partial status. Gerina Mendoza of Big Break Prince Edward Island is currently 4th on the money list.

Carling Coffing finished with 67-68 for T16 this week.

BTW, I noticed someone in this thread bragging recently that they isolated Ryann and emphasized her driving distance in post #37. Nice call, but that was 30 posts after I did the same in post #7.

Time runs out for Maiya... she should have went home the first week, IMO.

Overall the short game display was pretty disappointing for the most part, other than Carling and Taryn I suppose. And Carling's diabetes explain's some of her "giddyness..." probably hard to manage I bet with the shooting schedule, the way they hit a shot, then sit for an hour, then hit another shot, etc.

One thing I don't get... Ryann hits 265 yard plus drives last week, but tonight hits "all she's got" for a 197 yard 3w? Yeah different day and all but that is a pretty large gap, and no wind really on the 3w shot, nor the driver, IIRC. Just seems strange.

And I try not to speak bad about people, really. But what is with Stacy's hair. Guy in our foursome today mentioned it also, said the 50's called, they want their hairdo back... I though it was pretty funny, anyway.

Yeah I think she was 205, but still a valid point. Maybe there was more wind that we could see, but the flag was hardly moving, really.

But it uses quotes from Maiya that supposedly were made last week, and according to the posted time the article was online 20 minutes before the end of tonight's airing. The show ended at 10 PM Eastern time, which would be 7 PM Pacific.

There's supposed to be a confidential clause that prevents the contestants from revealing results before air date.

6:40PM California time is still 9:40PM Eastern...so still not kosher as the show was still being aired from 9-10PM EST. Plus as mentioned above the actual interview predated being posted online. So yeah something doesn't add up here. Interesting.

I will miss Maiya. Would have rather seen someone else go. Very big fan of Ryann and Sara, though. Interesting season so far, in my opinion!

Still appointment TV. And as far as Carling, being a diabetic, I know exactly what she goes through. When you feel like you are dropping, you can get serious anxiety because if you overcorrect, you can drop to the floor in a heap. So I totally get it.

And she's easy on the eyes! Still loving my Sara though!

I don't know... the flag was barely moving on Ryann's shot. Not sure about Maiya's shot, not even sure the flag was in the frame. Maybe I a wrong, I will look again.

EDIT: OK I looked again. I guess I would concede it a gentle breeze.. Not knocking anyone, just seemed like a very large gap from Driver to 3W. You'd expect someone driving the ball 265+ to easily hit the 3w 220-240 yards.

This is just pure speculation, but perhaps BB sponsor Adams Golf didn't like the listing of competitors' equipment on the website after they had paid money to be a sponsor.

A valid point, hadn't though about that. Along those lines, I haven't noticed as much tape covering up logos as in previous seasons... at least so far. A few gloves is all I've noticed.
