I bet red head covers with gray stripes would look good. Also, gray head covers with red stripes would look sweet. You could have her do the pom poms with white/gray/red to match the bag better. I would personally avoid white on the actual head cover because it could get dirty easily. Pulling it on and off, sweaty hands, etc.. the white could require cleaning. Had my black/gray Ju Ju's for a year and they look brand new.

All this Ju Ju talk got me wanting some new hybrid covers. Mine have pom poms, my wife's have tassles which I like better. I just emailed Ju Ju and put in an order for two new hybrid covers just like my other ones except with tassles. Merry Christmas to me from me. Ha ha...

Turns out the red/gray looks way too much like Ohio State. She send me a couple pics of red with white/black stripes and that looks quite sharp. It seems like a lot of the examples she sent mix it up, with different primary colors from club to club. Not sure which I like better, but thinking it would be cool to go with red/white/black on the driver with a nice pom, then do black/white/red on the rest.

Rookie, the shamrocks you got on your Travis headcovers would match this putter cover. Got the link from a guy in my "Christmas and stocking stuffer" thread just now. Looks like a website that sells nice putter covers. One of which has a shamrock on top. Thought you may want to take a look.

I just got a couple of Ju Ju headcovers and I could not be happier with their quality. She is also REALLY fast in making them and uses very quick shipping. I had them made and shipped from Cali to South Carolina in less than a week. Talk about customer service.

I posted in the knit headcovers thread, but should give some love in the Ju Jus thread too. Fantastic work, they're so much more vivid in person than in the pictures. Also, a lot softer yet thicker than I expected. She was awesome to work with, super responsive and very patient as I considered about a dozen designs/colors -- seemed like she had a picture of previous covers she's done in just about any combo I could think of..

Haha, that's great. But don't worry, I was thinking the same thing when I was picking my colors. The brighter ones she sent just didn't seem right though. Not sure if it's the yarn or what, but even the bright blues, yellows, etc looked a little dull. But that might be the camera, because my red covers are so much brighter in person.

 

If you're confident enough, go for some pink as the highlight color. I'd love to see Carolina blue, black, and pink highlights. Not sure why, just think it would be a cool combo. I wish there was a site you could mess with any colors you want and see how it looks, but Ju Ju does a great job sending you as many different combos as she can from past jobs.

For those who primarily walk...do these covers stay on the club or do they want to come off? They look great, but it would be a pain if they kept coming off when walking.

Good question. Ju Ju informs because she wants you to be happy. Seems there are about three sizes of pom poms. She suggest not using the large one for folks that walk. I have the large on my driver for a year. Looks brand new and never sags even the slightest bit. But I don't walk so I would take Ju Ju's advice.

I completely agree with #3. Juju and I talked about the large pom and mine did pull when I was walking with my bag. So she and I decided to go to medium sized poms and I couldn't be happier. Once again, another example of how awesome Juju is to her customers.

Got to jump on here. Ju Ju rocks . Had mine for a year, still fit tight and no fade at all. No holes, tears just as when new. Had occasion to need a add'l hybrid cover. Email sent with request, paid my invoice and cover here in less than two weeks. Only issue was asking to match the Yankee's colors. To which she asked "which yankees?". Now is the time to order as she gets real busy during the season.

not to beat a dead horse but, JuJu is AMAZING!!! not only is her work top quality she has great communication and ships out fast. i've had my set for about a 6 months before i was able to send out a picture to her and she remebered who i was! great customer service IMO.

I wasn't so sure about the whole knit cover deal, but doing some more research really got me interested. Valuing the opinions of the member here, I went ahead and contacted Ju Ju. I just purchased a new carry bag - the 2011 Sun Mountain Four5 black and red - and I wanted to having matching head covers. The whole process was smooth. The head covers exceeded my expectations. They are made of very thick wool and the construction is top-notch. The fit on the woods is snug, but it is easy to put on and off. It doesn't seem like walking with them will be a problem. The colors match well with the bag. VERY SATISFIED!

As a bonus since I live in SoCal, Ju Ju invited me to play golf with her and her husband. It was a blast! I have to give Ju Ju and the new head covers credit for my 4 birdies that day on a course I had never played!
