A Titleist 905S with a Grafalloy Blue.

For the detail freaks, it's 9.5 degrees with a 1" blind bored untipped Grafalloy Blue X shaft, weighs in at D-4, is 44 1/2" long and has a GP Tour Velvet Cord .580 round grip with 2 and 3 wraps on the end of it and a cheeky bit of hotmelt in the heel. 

It's been in the bag for nearly two years and I'm really quite fond of it.

Adams 9015D 9.5* with Grafalloy Prolaunch Axis Platinum 63X at about 45". Great driver, though I wish I hadn't read about how much more forgiving the 9064 can be for off-center hits - making me think about finding one to shaft up!

Still, my driving has never been better. Not sure of my exact stats but I've been in the fairway a lot this year.

Now playing a 9 *ping g15 with a aerotech steelfiber ss75. Swing speed is 105 and fight an early release. Prior to the ping I played a taylormade r5 10.5* for almost five years. Since I have gotten the ping I have shot a 76, two 77, 79, and 82. The 76 is my best round ever so i am really happy with it at the moment but we all know about the driver honeymoon period.

Titleist 909D2 9.5 w/ Diamana Whiteboard 73. Played with a few different shafts...Aldila RIP 70 and UST AXIV Green but always come back to the Whiteboard. Been playing the 909D2 for 2 years now but may do a 910 fitting in the spring.

9* Cobra HS9x, with GD Purple Ice 75x. I have had this baby in and out (mostly in) of the gamer bag for around 5 years. I've tried many, but old faithful wins every time. Anti-left, pretty forgiving, and long. A few that I tried this year are: TM Supertri, PING I15, Cally DET, FT-5, Cobra Pro s and d. HS9x always creeps its way back. Haven't found a better combo of distance, feel, accuracy, and consistency....but the search continues!!

It's my second Nak. First was an Htec 460 with same shaft. Cracked the face after about a year and a half of play. They replaced at no cost.

Im looking for a new driver and Im trying to find a bargin, I dont want to spend a fortune at this time of year. I have found a Callaway FT - 5 Titanium Tour Driver 8.5 with Fujikura 360 Stiff Graphite, which I might be interested in.

Im assuming you still rate your FT - 5 as your still hitting it and basically I would like to know if its still holding up well to the new drivers that are on the market now?

And By the way, Im playing a Steelhead III 9 degree at the moment.

Callaway Diablo Tour Authentic 9.5* - bought in March of this year.. It's not in my bag right now, but only because the Voodoo shaft snapped at the hosel a few weeks ago. Should hopefully be back in my hands by the end of the coming week with a 76g V2 stiff in it. Voodoo was a little bit too high launch for my liking, but the head is great - lowish spin, yet still pretty forgiving.

I've got a i-Mix 9.5* FT-9 Tour w/ the Fubuki 63 stiff in the bag in the meantime, which does a good job, but not quite as pleasant sounding at impact nor quite the forgiving feel that the Diablo seems to provide.

Since March I've also had:

- Tour issue Burner 09 TP 10.5* w/ the Rombax 75 X shaft - it was okay, but the face was a little too open for my liking.
- Titleist 905S 9.5* w/ 76g V2 stiff - launched well, but not quite forgiving enough. I've had a couple of chances to buy a 905R with the same shaft, but have turned them down for now.
- Adams 9015D 9.5* w/ JAVLNFX M7 S - didn't mind th head/shaft combo by any means, but once again, not quite forgiving enough.
