If you thought the $150 deal was good I just bought found it for $120!

Go to www.modells.com they have the clicgear 3.0 in all of the color and use code MOD4TEN215 it will give you 40% off plus free shipping. This is an awesome deal. Decided to get the girlfriend one of these instead of the 2.0 refurb since they were the same price. Get on board.

Well, I pulled the trigger and just ordered one in black. Now I'll have a CG3.0 and a SMV2. Going to use my SMV2 most of the time when I drive and space isn't an issue. The CG3.0 has opened up the possibility of a few extra rounds when normally I'd pass because I don't want to drive. I can also see it being more useful during wet rounds. One thing about the SMV2 is that even though it will easily roll in wet conditions, the slimmer wheels can level noticeable wheel ruts. Gotta respect the courses.

That Modell's deal is incredible. TGW wouldn't match it - I asked. TGW didn't believe me until I had the rep go to the site. They said they don't match sale or special prices. I don't need another cart, but I can justify it since I don't plan on buying any balls, clubs, or other accessories this year. Besides, I'll have two carts for the times when I want to get in an unplanned round with a guest or family member. I have a cart to go with a spare set of clubs.

Can't wait to try this bad boy out on the course.

Well I guess TGW is going to loose for money on this one, their loss!
i bought the reburb. 3.0 just to see if I liked a push cart. It was like new. Long story short, I love it. It made my game better compared to riding in a cart. I know the next shot well by the time I get to the ball. My main golf partner and I are still doing 3 1/2 hour rounds, so there's not any time difference between walking and riding.

It's neat that it folds down so easily, but I've never used that feature. I just pick the whole rig up and set it in the back, and it comes out and back in the shop when I get home. Change towels, and it's good to go again. Towels, tees, and balls are kept on a shelf right beside where I keep the rig. Talking about seats, I carry a little backpacking tripod seat, which has come in handy and is very quick to use.

It's really easy to push. The only difference for be between pushing it and just walking that's noticeable, is not being able to swing your arms when going up a steep hill.

I was looking at getting the same thing just wondering how or where you attached it to your cart? The one I am looking at has a strap so I figured I can just throw it over the handle but was wondering if anyone has done anything else.

I've heard tales of people modifying the Sun mountain seat to fit onto the clicgear.

I can't believe Clicgear doesn't have a seat option. I know my Sun Mountain seat is way cool! It's on a spring loaded stick so when you sit down it's locked onto the planet, then when you stand up, it retracts to let the cart roll. It also folds right up with the rest of the cart. I wouldn't want to watch the Superbowl sitting on this thing, but right around the 15th fairway, it's quite comfortable.

SM could do the seat better because the SMV2 (original and current) and now the current SMV1 are descendants from the SM electric carts with the beefy chassis that can hold the weight of a seat.

Clicgear never had that design and engineering. They may get it, but looking at the two carts shows a real difference in construction. It's also why the CG folds so much smaller - there's just less cart to fold.

As to seating options, I'm at that age where the walking and standing benefit me and keep me looser and more engaged so I'm not waiting on CG to come out with a seat.

My bag is a couple of year old C-130 with the putter tube on one side. The little seat fits inside a side pocket on the C-130. It has a velcro strap that goes around the seat to make it compact, but I don't even bother with that. I just fold it in, which requires nothing but picking it up, and stick it in the pocket.

It's something like this one. They come in different heights somewhere. It's really quite comfortable. I've been carrying it backpacking for years and have spent many hours sitting in it by campfires.

Thanks for the reply that is what I was looking at getting too. I only have a stand bag so I may have to figure something out. But with the slow rounds that sometimes get played around here I'd like to have one if I get caught in the fairway waiting for the group ahead.

The bags and carts now come with so much storage that I don't use it all. I will have no problem just getting one of the under $20 tri-leg camping stools. Cart-mounted seat isn't a priority for me because I don't want to have the cart right next to me in some places that have limited shade. Would be uncool literally and figuratively for people in my foursome.

That said, none of these accessories should cost over $20. It's quite easy to spend as much on accessories as it is on the carts these days.

Modells did 40% off TWICE in the last month or so, 1st time the whole order, the second time 1 item.
They must have gotten slammed, cuz it looked like the CG made it to the exclusion list after a bunch got snapped up from here.

Deal or No Deal is the place to be..........even though it costs me a shtload of $ !

There's love for the BagBoy - I have two, and think they are great especially for the price. However "1" will not fit in my truck of my sports car, and my wife doesn't like it when I drive off without her so I need two to fit. Clicgear is the smallest that I can find, yet fully functional.

It looks like ClicGear will have a seat available for sale shortly, I may need to invest in one for those long rounds.

Looks like they will have a cooler bag now too which is something I was looking for. That cooler tube wouldn't hold enough "beverages" for walking 9 holes. The new gps mount looks to be a little better also.
