Ostrich Grip!

For sale is a newly refinished TEi3. It is 34". BOS deep milled the face for a loss of only 2 grams! The copper insert is already turning brown, but can be fixed with a little lemon juice. This has not been outside yet and will need to be oiled to prevent rust. It has a hand made used ostrich grip that shows some wear on the end cap. It comes with a new cameron art of putting headcover.

Only trades would be for fastback or fastback 1.5

You just don't get it.... the point is that you should keep any negotiating between you and the seller. As soon as you make it public to see, it can become other people's business, because we are also interested in the item for sale. Also, it's funny how you've been so offended that you need to make a personal attack on another member. Good job. Finally, it's not a "thread jack". It's perfectly relevant to the thread at hand.

$300 is a steal for this. When I buy and restore these I consistently get $320+ on eBay and that's without a $50 grip and head cover.

Of course there's a reason I don't sell these on GolfWRX, which is evident by some of the comments on this thread. Anyway, don't lower your price cardia, unless you're hurting for cash. Just my opinion, although it is based on quite a bit of experience with TeI3's.

and sorry you're so embarrassed by your public low ball offer that you felt the need to attack me and my feedback. Not sure why if someone enjoys trying new equipment and has the $$'s to do so, it immediately means they have a "lack of confidence" in their golf equipment, but I guess that makes as much sense as some moron making a public lowball offer and then whining like a little girl when he's called out on it.

Carry on!! And I'm pretty sure my "lack of confidence in my golf game" would do me just fine in a match with you, but I doubt you'd ever pay up in the end.

the BST is not a store, it is an open auction with a priced placed and offers welcomed. I am not embarrassed at all as I am constantly lowballed on certain equipment that I sell.

It's not a fact of beating your offer, or anything else, it's a violation of the BST rules. It's rule #12 for reference:

Ask any Mod, posting any offer in the thread is included in that rule. You're supposed to do it via PM, that's how this works. For someone so educated on this site and the BST, you don't seem to comprehend what the rules mean. Negative comment on the price includes offering an amount lower than what is posted, that's negative to the posted price, so yes, it violates that rule.

There's no need to devolve the OP's thread into a shouting match, or pissing contest. Handle the situation right, and like an adult, and make an offer via PM. That's the responsible, and correct thing to do in this instance. No need to go on the rampage with other members, and it keeps other members from being able to ridicule your offer, further diluting the OP's thread. It's an unnecessary occurrance.

To the OP, you have a beautiful putter on your hands and I wish you the best of luck selling it. I can't putt with a plumber's neck, so I won't even make an offer or attempt to buy it. But, hopefully you get your price that you need for it.

TG no need to feel embarassed. Some (me included) just think it follows BST etiquette to PM any offers less than the asking price. But to each his own. Buy it outright...that sucker is sexy!
