3 Floyd's has started bottling 6 packs of one of my favorite beers they produce. Available before only on tap, or occasionally in bombers.

I had my local liquor store order some, and it seems it's a hit, as it's gone an hour or two after the truck delivers it.

Fantastic beer. I've been able to get a few bombers of it in the past. Have to ask my Chicago friends to keep an eye out for the 6 packs.

 

As to hopslam this year as was stated yes it's still a good beer. However it's a shadow of what the beer used to be. When I'm buying it I am expecting something close to what it has been before. Not trying to hate but would prefer it have the same similar characters that it was known for.

Grab a case of Toppling Goliath Pseudosue APA . They just released in Chgo. Super smooth - one of the better ones.

 

Not a fan of the Hop Slam this yeat, little too boozy for me - years ago this was my fav beer out there - seems the taste has evolved over time or I have.

Cracked open my first 2016 Abyss and was a little underwhelmed. Didn't get as much flavor as I was hoping for. It was a good solid imperial stout, but I thought there'd be a little more complexity to the flavor(s), if that makes sense.

Enjoying a Leinenkugel's Bavarian Dunkel....it's about the only decent beer they make. Fairly mild all the way around, hint of roastiness, hint of spice, and berry....I like it. I suspect they base this off Creamy Dark and add the spice notes and berry.

I like the Hotbox Porter, and this coffee IPA has piqued my interest. I am a big fan of malty IPAs, but adding coffee should be interesting.

Anyone try the Firestone Walker Bravo yet? Bought one at Whole Foods and they had a ton more. Wondering if I should go back tomorrow for another one or two. Also got a growler of Green Flash Palate Wrecker, and drank an Avery Tangerine Quad while there, great stuff.
