And call me whatever but I love taking my wife with me. She is not only my life partner but she is my favorite golf pard. After almost 25 years I am still head over heels in love with her - what can I say.

Not the info you're looking for... but I play wherever the job takes me.

Last 12 months I've been from Phoenix, AZ to Ventura, CA to Las Vegas, NV to Concord, CA and now in Modesto, CA.

No offense to anybody that lives here in Modesto... but the golf pretty much stinks.

I "live" in Escondido, CA. Make it there one weekend every couple months... and when I'm there, I LOVE me some Woods Valley!

And yeah... I'm single.

I live in Sedona, AZ at 4500ft of elevation. Warm enough to play all year at Verde Santa Fe Golf Course in Cottonwood, AZ at 3200ft 14 miles from my house.. I also play Seven Canyons, 3 miles from my Inn and Sedona Golf Resort in the Village of Oak Creek, 8 miles from my house.

This summer we are moving back to Florida, Lakeland area. I'll play lots of golf and get back to racing triathlons.

Been playing Morris Williams quite a bit as of late but I believe they're closing for a year in Feb. Gonna have to find a new place to walk soon.

My home course is 5 minutes away and has very few members. It is fairly short and tight. I can play a round (on my own) in 2.25 hours and the Early Bird is only $15. It is a marsh (bad irriigation), but Glen Eagle is great for quick, early, and quiet!

I live on a course in the Orlando area. So I play it about 4 days a week. I'll play other Orlando area courses 2 or 3 times a month.

My home course is an hour away in Albuquerque NM. I live an hour north in Santa Fe where it is 5-10 degrees colder and the ground is usually frozen almost all day in the winter. I play a resort course called Sandia that is owned by an Indian tribe. I buy a membership card for $150/yr giving 3 free rounds and $20 off the $85 peak rate and $10 of the $60 winter rate plus other lesser benefits. They have a pretty good budget and the course is usually in very good condition. It is about as good as it can be in the winter considering it is tough to fix ball marks on the green when the ground is frozen a half inch below the surface in the morning. It isn't too bad at 40+ degrees with minimal wind as we usually have very sunny days. I usually play once a week 40+ weeks of the year.

Don't have a home course....play wherever strikes my fancy in the area......I generally like cost effective places. I'm also a range rat.....love driving range and practice area time.

Have to say however, that i have a soft spot for this crappy little par 3 course here in town (Ottawa Canada) called Capital Golf. It's a par 3....like 2000 yards....in in pretty crappy condition....has an alright driving range.....but it's where I learned to play....I'll always love it.

That being said....I don't play to escape my significant other....otherwise, I wouldn't have married her in the first play.
