Hit it today...wow!

I don't post here much, but I was at the TaylorMade Performance Labs and hit the new RBZ Tour Spoon. That thing is crazy long. It was flying nearly the same distance as the R11s. Crazy long. I guess it's being released on 3/15. There probably isn't much to post about any major differences, but the spin rate was lower compared to the 14.5 degree TP model. I'm addicted.

I have a RBZ Tour Spoon ordered from Edwin Watts to ship on 3/15! What am I supposed to do when I hit my new 3 Wood longer than my driver... Golf Ho problems!

$329 with stock shaft. $429 with TP shaft. Pricey but, worth it. Ordered mine with a Kaili, suppose to come in original graphics! Can't wait!

229 stock shaft for the retail tour head. 329 for the retail tour head with tp shaft. 420 ish for the retail tour head with a kai'li 80.

Okay thanks. I was under the impression that the "Tour" and "Tour Spoon" were two different models.

Tour Spoon is just the 13º Strong 3 wood head in the "tour" model.

Having 3 wood love problems with my std head rbz now and its a great prob to have! Its great hitting 3 wood so straight and able to swing like a wrxer at it - with reckless abondon!

I'm getting the RBZ Tour TP 3 + 5 woods. I like the standard RBZs but would like a smaller head and a heavier swing weight. I sure hope that the 70g shaft feels different than that xcon5. Those of you who have hit the tour head, does it have a heavier feel? Thanks!

For those who are getting the 13* head what are you planning on getting as next fairway club? Rbz non tour 3-HL 17*? Rbz tour 3 or 5 wood? Rbz 17 hybrid?
Also, do you plan on using the 13* head off the deck?

i'm wondering the same thing. Assuming that the 14.5* RBZ flies as far as other 13* FWY's, wouldn't you prefer the forgiveness of the 14.5* rather than the supposed distance gain? Or are you just planning on using the 13* off the tee and not as a club to go for the green in two?

I still need to hit it, but if i can hit the 14.5* as far as, say the r11s 13*, i'd prefer that as opposed to using the rbz 13* which might only give me an extra 5/10yrds over the 14.5* and probably have trouble holding the green

I'm going to get the 13* and then the tour 5 wood to complete my set. Maybe a couple Tour hybrids as well...

Can anyone tell me if the tour spoon or any of the tour tp fwy heads in a 70g shaft, does it feel heavier than the standard rbz fairways????

Sounds like you almost need to game an 8* or 8.5* driver just to have gaps with the tour spoon.
