Lamkin Tour Black Full Cord Grips

Saw some of these in GG while just killing some time.

 

I was going to buy GP Tour Velvet BCT Cords, but these felt good and were a full $3.50 less expensive per grip.

 

Anyone use these? How do they compare to the Golf Prides?

Did you notice the cord is more of a brown than white?

Yes, but there appears to be more cord than the Golf Prides have.

I have been using these grips for a few years now. They don't get slick or hard like the Tour Velvet cords can. Also the cords seem to be more noticable and present while still being soft. I don't use a glove and these grips are soft , tacky, relatively cheap, and just perfect.

Got the blacks on one set of wedges and the whites on another...heh!! Love the feel, wasn't too much of a full cord guy, but they feel really nice!!

These are really good and in my experience last a lot longer than the Golf Prides. I believe they may be a .580 core, which made them slightly harder to get on a .600 shaft. But nothing unmanageable.

Keep an eye out on Golfsmith.com for these...sometimes the blems become available for $1.37 a grip, which is a ridiculous steal.

No matter how many times I watch this video I can't help but laugh. The gut hanging over the Superman belt buckle gets me started and I completely lose it when he's waving the club around with 8" of grip flopping off of the end. So much win here!

I have a set that I've been using close to a year and they work great. I use these or the lamkin crossline cords. The tour black are a little softer than the crossline cords but provide enough grip. I sweat a lot and don't use a glove. The gp cords have changed and are not as good as the lamkins.

I use some of these along with the Crossline Tour Full Cord. I really like the feel. Right now, the Tour Blacks are on my wedges and I really like the feel. They are nice and tacky and still provides lots of feel. I recommend them.

That is the WORST! I was hoping that someone in the background would fire one off the toe and clock this kid. As for the black crossline, they are great. That is the only grip that I use on my clubs.

Fantastic grips.

More cord and the cord is raised for better traction.

They wear incredibly well and when they get a little matted down a light rub with sandpaper brings them right back.

I put these one a few rounds ago. Pro: Cords feel much better the GP cords,much thicker and coarser . Con: Cord very inconsistant from grip to grip,no better or worse then GP quality on cord coverage.

Just watched the video...SOMEONE is going to show up at my GG with 8 grips hanging off the end of the clubs like that and say they don't know what happened...they watched a YOUTUBE video to see how to do it?!?!?!
