Isn't that the JDM version from this year?
Yep, it's just the JDM version from this year. Doesn't even have MWT that I can see. R11s would be better, because of more adjustability, IMHO.

R11j is lighter and has no moveable weights. Also, the ASP has only 3 adjustments, whereas with the R11s there are 5.

Just out of curiosity ; what was the difference in price between this, and the regular R11, or R11s?

Ahaa... I left just before they started on the new club house. Say Hi to Joe Steno for me, tell him its from Kevin H. And good luck with TC-1. Heard it going to be a beast.

I was just in Shanghai and they had the R11J at a store there. Price was 5700 RMB which is about $900 US. This is not unheard of there but is more expensive than some of the other brands.

the R11s is one of the worst drivers Ive hit this year. Hope they have something better come out next year. All that adjustibilty is too confusing for average golfer let alone a low handi like myself
I can't seem to kick it out of the bag. I try but no luck. I do think the white is easier to line up. Original R11 feels a little better to me, but the S spins less and is longer. I easily can drop back a tee box with the S. Strange but true.

Asian clubs are aimed at fat middle aged koreans and japanese that take 5 hours to hack up a nice course, despite being in buggies and having caddies, and there being no rough.

I have never seen anyone at the range I go to in Singapore hit anything other than a wet girly slice or duff with a R11S. But it's the latest club to impress their other R11S owning friends with. Until the R13 comes out and they will go and drop 500US on another club they can't hit.

As opposed to the clubs marketed in the US, where they are marketed to young, fit and athletic golfers..And the average range in the US is full of only these fit and athletic people bombing drives over the fence right? I can bet you ANY amount that the BMI index among US golfers is way way higher than the average korean or japanese golfer..Don't you know that the US is the fattest, most obese and unfit nation in the developed world? And that this is an undisputed fact?

I travel, work and golf in Asia and I rarely see a fat peson, neither on the course or otherwise. Plus, this is the JDM part of the forum so why don't you go over to the vastly superior USDM equipment part of the forum? Why come on here and piss around? Loser.

Calm down poppet - I live in Asia. I'm not american either, so have no view on who is 'best'. I was more commenting on the fact that the J is aimed at affluent middle aged people, who you will know as you are such an expert, will play golf once or twice a month and take their time over it. Usually because they are playing for silly amounts of money.

I was talking about fat in the context of normal people, not Americans...

So why bother surfing over to the JDM section and spew lava when you seem to dislike the asian golf equipmnet so much? Once or twice per month sounds like a pretty typical golfer, no matter what country.

I also live in Asia by the way, and I can't say the standard of play here is any worse than in Europe or the US.
