The WBW 90 #7 is my next putter i think.

The BWB #7 was short on most putts compared to the WBW 90 # 7. Dont sure why other than the obvious?

Just when I was trying to convince myself that I'm good with my putter lineup. Phil rocking his new #9 'Integrated solution' Versa (ProType black shaft, blacked out metal X insert, SS grip), Keegan and his new Versa Sabertooth and now Scotty loyalists switching.

Ok, ok, that and, like so many of you, I tried my buddy's WBW 90 out and was putting lights out on the practice green.

Guess its good that I've got a small stash in my Paypal still.

I can understand because I've used a sight line on every putter I can remember in the past probably 10 years. Even the OG White Hot #8 I put a little sight line on there myself because I've always used them. The 'dots' on the #7 make a line good enough in my book, but I guess people are different. Hey, they were able to make a #9 Versa with a sightline for Phil...never know, maybe you could contact the powers at Odyssey and make it happen!

I thought I read that the Versa line was an accident. Odyssey was trying to use different materials within the same head and while testing found that the contrast of colors (because of material differences) made lining up the putter much easier.

The insert on the Versa/White Hot Pro line is outstanding; picked up a #7 WHP. I putted the Versa very well, but I'm a visual guy and couldn't get use to it.

I don't know why, but it brings a smile to my face when a Tour players drops an ultra expensive custom putter for something you and I don't have to pay an arm and a leg for to own. Play what works I guess is the moral of the story.

I don't know about the colour scheme on the versa but that odyssey no 7 is an awesome putter, I have one in the bag right now, super easy to line up and really stable.

I don't know if it started that way, but I know the first "prototype" was Koske taking white out to a putter and heading out to the course. Fact.

I'd love to find a black shaft for the Versa 7. The Versa 7 to me is their best version yet due to the size. I tried it against the WHP yesterday at lunch and didn't like the big size of the WHP. As a blade user the Versa 7 looks nice without being too big IMO. I am very tempted to pick one up and pair it with a super stroke slim 55.

One of the guys I play regularly with played in the Pro-Am with Fowler...he wont be using the Versa for long. Kelly was already working on a replacement. Both Skovy and Rickie told my friend that it was a temporary switch. "Sometimes good things gotta get benched once on a while."

Rickie will be back with a Scotty very soon.

He is third in strokes gained putting only behind rose and tiger. Think he will be happy with that. Not sure but I don't think he is ever been in the T3 in that category. Doesn't really seem like a smart move to switch back. But who knows, its,all about what's feeling good that week I guess.

Crazy how fast his putting stats changed after putting this in play... You guys think Koske is working on a small batch of Rickie BOB (black orange black) #7's right now?
