Rickie switched from GoLo to Versa #7 at AP? (Close up Pics Added!!!)

Instead of starting a new thread, we've added the pics we snapped of Fowler on the course today with his new Odyssey Versa No. 7 so Seany continues to get the credit he deserves for getting this awesome scoop.

Wow!! Trying to GoLo without the GoLo!! I can see alot of guys trying these out that are Mallet users, Charles Howell has one of the best season starts of his career and he picked up the Versa #1 at the Sony!!

I didn't want to believe it, but it is a great putter that simply does what it was meant to do. Make putting more accurate.

I really liked the Versa #7 to the point that I'm seriously considering buying one and I've been using the same scotty since 2001.

I was somewhat in the same spot as you. Had my mind set on a GoLo until I tried out the Versa... ended up with a WBW #7 and couldn't be happier.

Not for one second! I think it goes to show you that the mind set and psyche of a Tour Pro is such that it will always be the putter and never them.

The Golo is nice however i have read really good reviews on the versa #7. It has a better feel and wieght to it.then again everyone has thier own personal preference.

Odyssey makes a orange grip that they offer for the Protype tour putter line.

All this versa love reminds me of the day when the two ball was released. It was the hottest thing on tour and everywhere you looked more and more were being put in play.

I gotta admit, the #7 is polarizing for me. I bought one last year (XG 2.0) and couldn't get the distance right with it. Every putt was short. I was at the store earlier today and was draining everything with the WBW 90 #7. I don't know how I am going to resist picking one up. Plus then I will have an excuse to buy mallet head covers!

Come guys. You all know its really a Scotty made to look like a Versa. No way and sane person would leave Scotty. We all know only reason Tiger and Rory left Scotty is they are being paid millions to do so and if they had their own choice would run back to Scotty in a second.

Good for Rickie. His putting has been lackluster at best w/ the Golo. I've gamed Scotty's here and there and found the Golo to the worst putter he's ever produced. Looked real nice in my bag though.
