Thanks for the video ....great !! However, did anyone us hear the difference in the couple of shots CHIII hit before being handed the MP4 and the sound of the MP4?? The pre-shots have that traditional mizuno sounds from a solid hit that you know felt like butter but the sound on the MP4 hits sound "clicky".

I'm I hearing things or maybe the sound is more on the "clicky" side. Just a personal preference ....dont care for a clicky sound in my irons. MP-53 player and before that played MP-32s forever (which I think was the best feeling mizuno).

The whole "Mizunos are like butter" thing is so overblown....feel is so subjective, but i have hit X-hot pros and pings which feel a lot better.....my s56's are clicky but i love em and my 712 CB's are what I call sweet cream butter

I was told by their CS that Mizuno is adding two new steel shafts, the NS Pro 1150 and a True Temper shaft called XP 105, 106-107 grams and is a high launch shaft.

They said the new irons will be officially on the website end of August (28th) - still time for new stuff I guess (a jpx and wedges maybe?) but it makes sense for them to spread out the releases / hype a little.

I saw the Mizuno MP R12 Wedges on sale at GS. So im assuming a new wedge is coming out too. Any word?

Forgiveness should be about the same. The muscle is deeper on the 4 for more feel and the short irons are a little smaller.

No replacement for the R12 wedge at this time. They will offer the MPT 4 and a new JPX wedge.

Based on the current MP-64 as well as the MP-H4 (which look to be right in that slot of the line that they wish to replace), then I'd guess TT Dynamic Gold. They do provide certain other shafts at no upcharge (PX, KBS).

The stock shaft for the MP 54 will remain the Dynamic Gold S300. The shafts mentioned below will be new additions to our custom line up, but the majority of the existing custom options will remain. The only new additions were the Nippon NS Pro 1150, and a new True Temper shaft called the XP 105. The XP 105 is a shaft that is initially being launched through us exclusively. This shaft weighs 106 gr. in regular, and 107.5 gr. in stiff. Both flexes produce a high launch. Custom link provided below:[/size]

The pics were on a phone and only of the cavity, so tough to really get a good idea. The finish appears to be black nickel. The cavity is a little larger than the 825. I guess their sweet spots are rediculous compared to other GI irons like G25, XHot, and Rocketbladez. Super "EZ" to hit!
