We designed the highly successful Memphis 10 for Callaway a number of years ago, I would suggest that you take a look at the Speed Step 85 which is a shaft that works particularly well with their latest product lineup. We have no intentions of manufacturing a wood version of this shaft at this point; the demand for steel woods fell of the cliff several years ago and really does not support the introduction of a line of steel wood shafts at this time.

Great question! The DG Pro is slightly heavier than the XP- S300 but lighter than the DGS300. The XP continues to be a huge success story for True Temper and performs well is a wide range of player categories. I would suggest that the DG Pro takes it to the next level, with the optimized sub sets, however if you prefer the lighter mid weight properties of the XP then you should go in that direction; really both products are very high performers.

You mentioned the smoother feel of the DG Pro, can you give a comparion shaft or maybe how much smoother than say an X100??? I found the X100 to do what I wanted it to do, but feeling bulky or 'not smooth' as much as I prefer?

We begin with a design that is often a response to a true player need we have identified (such as DG Pro answering the need for higher launching long irons). We then begin with static testing on our robot which is the most advanced in the industry. After that we take the shafts out on tour and to local ranges for dynamic player testing.
