Bullrush is a great course for the money. Some wide open holes mixed with some tighter holes make it a good challenge! Usually play there a couple times a year, early in the season and late in the fall when everything up north is closed. It's always been in good condition then. Will be interesting to see what kind of shape it's in in the summer.

We are in really good shape right now. Greens are better than anything else in the area including Purple Hawk, they are rolling fast and true. Club championship is coming up next weekend so they will be rolling nice and quick.

Anyone who is interested in playing at Bulrush hit me up and I'll get ya on, maybe even play a few holes with ya.

Played Chaska with Jeshua (JD8102) yesterday. First round with a known WRX'er. We had a great time even though neither of us played our best. I do think I figured out my driver though, hit my last 6 drivers really well, pretty much only pros do that.

Questions:
Where is Bull Rush? Why have I never heard of any of these MN courses?

Are Simple36 and LBJ273 brothers? Fighting via an online forum? When they live in the same house?

If you two are anything like my brothers and I there will be a fist fight before the first group tees off on Saturday. I will pay for the winner of the bouts round. No pressure Simple36 but as the younger brother you are expected to be scrappier and way more violent while being effortlessly beaten to a pulp by your older brother.

Bulrush is the course right off I-35 in Rush City where I'm the Assistant Pro. Simple36 is indeed my younger brother. Also thanks for noticing its LBJ not IBJ like a lot of people do

Played the linkerpan's stomping grounds today: Eagle Valley. Zipped around in 2:30 and shot even 72. Woot! LOVE fast golf!!

My friend Marc Kilgore and I will be warming up in Bulrush in the morning (we are looking for an excuse to drink before Tanners). Just a heads up: on HWY 61 they are putting in a roundabout at Cty 14/175th about a mile and a half south of the club. I haven't run into too much traffic as a result, but you can also go north 35W up to 97 and go east on 97 to HWY 61 and backtrack down 61 a couple miles. I haven't seen any work going on during weekends, however, so 61 shouldn't cause any major delays if you go that way.

That's the route I've always travelled, since I come up 35w.

Got to experience the roundabout in Forest Lake last weekend, when I visited my cousin up that way. We have a couple of those around here (Maple Grove and Champlin), didn't know they'd made their way farther north. LOL
