I didn't get that from his interview/ appearance. He said he was no longer going to be writing for Golf.com but didn't say that he'd been fired or if this was his decision. Pretty obvious he was in a defensive posture regarding GC and how Tiger and his camp had that deal wrong (which is true) but the reality is that two high profile gigs in the same industry will feed off of each other.

I don't now what GC pays but I can't imagine Golf.com pays that much for the occasional article.
