"live" in the program description because it should be but threat of bad weather forced them to move the tee times earlier. if it's truly live, it will say so next to their logo at the bottom right

awaiting frankie lob wedge to flame phil with the same continuous, uninhibited vitrol as shown to a certain player who missed a 4 foot par putt a little over a month ago to lose a tournament. this unspeakable t.c. chen double hit wth a right handed attempt (and we all know phil is left handed!) FROM UNDER A BUSH when a simple unplayable lie choice puts him in position to recover with a sensible shot and the least possible damage done. absolutely makes no sense at all

To his credit Phil did measure the 2club lengths for an unplayable but it seemed he still would not have had a clear shot to the green.

The mistake was not getting on his knees to play the back handed shot. It would have been a more stable swing.

i don't think a clear shot to the green was feasible given he was already in jail from a crooked tee shot. taken an unplayable, punch out or up the fairway then approach shot for a bogey at best, double at the worst. at that time he was leading the tournament so it just amazes me the decisions he makes for such an accomplished golfer

Phil most probably thought his backhand shot would get him to a spot in the waste area where he could see the green. If it didn't double hit/hit the shaft it may have. In fact it would have been the same situation as the unplayable, then play out. Take away the penalty and he still he is still going to probably on in 4.

Could've/would've/should've is always Phil. He made a spectacular pitch in a major last year when he should've played sideways. He gained a stroke there, today he lost one or two.
